I would like to give six stars if possible. I ordered the lamb korma with the lamb shank — simply amazing! The lamb got my attention at the first place — it is tender and well marinated. The rice is also flavorful and goes well with the sides. All for only $18! The service is also really nice — the cashier lady introduced the choices to me very patiently. I’ll definitely go back!

I got a sampling of some of the greatest curry dishes with garlic butter naan bread. The portions are more than enough for one person (American size). Owners are very humble with cheerful smiles. Will be returning on my next trip to SF.

It’s true you find the most delicious food at the most unassuming places. I would have never thought I’ll find the best biryani in a mall in San Francisco! The aroma attracted me to it and I saw a Lahori aunty cooking in the back so I knew I had to try it! And I was blown away.. owner is the sweetest lady and she takes pride in what she’s offering. Must try!

I traveled to San Francisco from NC and found this wonderful restaurant while strolling through the mall. The food is excellent!!! I ordered the lamb and chicken combination. The meat was extremely tender and the flavor was so rich! It was wonderful to see how the chefs/owners took pride in their food. I also ordered the mango drink which was delicious as well. If I’m ever in SF again, I will be returning!

Mashallah Halal is located in the Westfield Mall in the food court. I enjoyed the food but 5 combination plates cost over $90.00. The owner who is named Rabia did her best to interact with a smile and sense of humor but it did not come across well. If she did stand-up comedy she would have been booed off stage. The food was mediocre. My favorite item was the lamb. The mango lasse was also made well. I will not be returning.
