Tasty! It’s the kind of place you kind of know what you’re getting into, solid food and friendly staff. We got the bar harbor lobster roll with the lobster tail and the lobster salad (which we actually both liked more! Felt more substantial in a way with the different flavors and textures). Making it a combo with chips and drinks, we had a solid dinner and enjoyed ourselves. It is a pricier meal for a casual place, but good food is good food. We would come back! The lady who took our order was also so friendly and welcoming. She took the time to describe the menu since it was obvious it was our first time there.

Never had a lobster roll, so not much to judge it by, but I do know what a good meaty sandwich looks like. This one, I added extra lobster which cost more obviously. I always thought a lobster roll was two buns like a sandwich so not sure if they split the bun the way they do it is true style or just to make it look like you getting more lobster. Overall it was good, but left me still wanting more meat. Also, the tip thing is getting out of hand and I noticed the way it defaults to 15% or 20%…can’t remember but the dude up front is just taking your order so you don’t need to tip him much if at all. Took my food outside and ate in the little covered area. Place is spendy and I think my sandwich about about 30 bucks so I didn’t get anything to drink.

Best lobster rolls we’ve tried in the DC/Nova area, hands down. We came here the other day and ordered the Connecticut Style lobster roll (I got the Bar Harbor – 59% more lobster and my gf got the regular) and both were delicious. From the roll, to the quality and preparation of the lobster (not overcooked), to the butter sauce — everything was 5 stars. I don’t think the Bar Harbor — at least in our case — had 50% more lobster meat (I think it was closer to 30% more) but I tried both and the points above were valid/consistent across both lobster rolls. The dill pickle was also fresh and a nice accompaniment.

Pretty decent overall. I ordered the classic maine lobster roll & a cup of clam chowder. Both were tasty, especially the bread roll which the lobster lay on. Came out to ~$31, including taxes & tip.

I had the Connecuit Roll (lobster roll served warm). I had a cup of Clam Chowder and a delicious root beer. Food looked delicious, which it was, and it was served in only a few minutes. Nice lobster roll which I’ll be back in D.C to try again.

Stumbled upon this place when I was at The Wharf this afternoon. Apparently, it opened today. I tried the original lobster roll and thought it was good. The management and staff were extremely nice and the location is perfect.

Happy to see the place finally open after so long of me passing by every time I went to work. The service was great and the owner (who’s name escapes me) was very appreciative and welcoming. He was serving food and getting his hands dirty – a sign of a great manager / owner. I look forward to the great success of the business.

We a party of two each had a lobster roll. It was really good but not large. Lobster used to be cheap but no more. If you are looking to get full one lobster roll will not do it.

Worth the hype! Tons of lobster for the price. Fast food feel if you don’t know the vibe. But super tasty!

Outstanding service and a clean, comfortable dining room. Servers were very friendly and patient with us placing several custom orders. -1/2 star for having no shortage of patio tables, but a lack of chairs. -1/2 star for the food. If you have an itch for a lobster roll, this will scratch that. The rolls were good, but not memorable.
