Went on a Wednesday evening, the dining room was almost completely empty except for one table at that point and the waitress decided to sit us right next to that table, it was very uncomfortable, there’s no music or anything so the dining room is completely silent and all we could hear was the conversation of the table next to us, we didn’t feel comfortable at all even talking to each other at a normal volume, so we were whispering, finally I asked her if we could eat in the bar instead. It was much more comfortable in there, with blues music providing some background sound. The place got busy pretty quick and there was only one waitress for the entire restaurant. We waited almost 1 hour for our food. The food was great, home cooked comfort food, flavorful,.. the braised short ribs fell apart, super tender, flavorful gravy, the mashed potatoes were very creamy. The pot pie was also great with a nice thick creamy sauce , although there could have been more carrots. When we were finished eating and ready to leave I ordered a piece of carrot cake to go, for the waitress to bring back with the bill…. over 15 minutes passed before she finally came back, and that was only after we had stood up and made it obvious that we were in a rush to go and even approached the bartender to try to cash out. So plan on being there for a long time, takes forever to get your food and takes forever to get your bill. Carrot cake was not good. If you’re expecting a moist cake filled with raisins and walnuts and carrot with a thick rich cream cheese frosting, you will be sorely disappointed! It was just…meh. and the frosting had a general sweetness but no flavor.

We had just finished hiking a few miles away, and wanted to celebrate the miles. After searching for Steak restaurants in the area, we came across this lovely place. The food was presented beautifully, the option to sit at the window was a nice treat, and the price was reasonable. The service was hit or miss at times, but that didn’t sour my overall feelings for this choice.

Was at the Erie county fair and then went to dinner at Mason’s. I am a French Onion Soup lover. Try it every where I go. This was some if the very best I have ever had. Had the Crusted Salmon for dinner as well and it was outstanding. The service was top notch and atmosphere was nice. Well worth your time as you will not be disappointed. Made my list of places to defiantly come back too.

Service is average, first few times you’ll be ignored if your not a regular. Eventually they recognize you and you get better service. If you fall into that category of not being recognized and it’s busy you will get terrible service. The woman who works the front bar room most days is actually very sweet though.

Lovely vibes, minimalist Picasso esque decor on the walls. Feels like a place where people actually talk over their meals. Lacey was our server and I want to take a moment to talk about how great she is! I’ve served at several high end restaurants and been a trainer for and it is VERY rare to be blessed with a server like Lacey. Her table service is adaptable, mind blowingly prompt, gracious, and efficient. Our food was delicious and prepared with care. Great little random stop for us!!

Made a reservation for two on a Sat. Wow. First time here. Food was exceptional. We were seated withing 5 minutes from our arrival and from the start we were impressed. All the servers were kind and the place was clean. I ordered crab stuffed salmon (special) and my date got the prime rib. Exceptional. Everything came out on time. The fiod was hot and our server never let our drinks go unfilled. 10/10. Will be back!

Mason’s Grille was fantastic! A great place in the Village of Hamburg. We were very please me with our meals, one of the best, most tasty meals I’ve ever had! Great, caring service and a real nice ambience made for a very enjoyable experience. Highly recommend, we will be back!

We ordered salmon, pork chops and a caesar salad. The salmon was slightly overcooked and the rice lacked seasoning. The pork chop and caesar salad were very good. The flatbread and roast pepper soup were excellent. The meal cost $140 for three adults including tip.
