Great little sushi spot in Vallejo. All the food we ordered was excellent. Girlfriend is vegetarian and they were able to make her a custom sweet potato tempura roll that was awesome. I got the crunchy tuna tacos and the Mare Island (Butterfish). Loved the tuna filling inside the taco. They use a taro root shell, which I think would be better replaced by a wonton shell, but the inside of the taco was some of the best ahi/poke style mix I have had. Tofu appetizer was great as well. Found all the food to be delicious and can’t wait to go back.

Super delicious Sushi option. Why go out of Vallejo if we have this amazing experiences here. Truly a hidden Gem. We had amazing sushi here. All ingredients so fresh and delicious. We ordered A Pink Lady, Rainbow sushi and Scallop sushi. The raw fish is melt in your mouth delicious. Scallop sushi was super good and Pink lady is perfect for a small crunchy option.We also Ordered the Bulgogi and wow it was so savory. Surprised there is no line coming out of this place. Highly recommend for it’s amazing customer Service and fresh food.

Matsuri’s has stepped up their game over the past few years. The M & M roll with truffle oil is amazing, the flaming dragon roll has great presentation and the lobster lover roll is delicious. This is our go to Vallejo sushi spot.

I have been here about a dozen times but I won’t be back because of the owner’s bad customer service policy. I immediately started to feel sick after eating this raw roll and threw up shortly after. I called to let them know. They basically said tough luck and it can’t be our fault, even though I explained I didn’t even eat anything else today except THEIR FOOD. Watch out
