This is my father-in-law’s favorite restaurant. The only thing he asks for his birthday every year, is for the family to gather together and share a meal at this restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious!! We look forward to this special tradition! This year we started with Miso soup and a house salad with homemade ginger dressing. Next, we tried a wonderful appetizer, Yakitori, and placed 2 orders, to ensure everyone at the table could try one. I tried the Chicken Teriyaki dinner, my husband had the Chicken Matsu (Panko breaded chicken), our son ordered Ramen with roasted pork and vegetables and my father-in-law and other son ordered their favorite – Unagi Don (Eel in eel sauce). For dessert, we love the Tempura Banana…yum!! We can’t wait to return very soon!

Such delicious food! Their menu is very extensive. My husband had the donburi and I had the sushi dinner, both pictured. We also had the age dashi tofu and a salmon onigiri. Such a great place for solid Japanese food.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for awhile now since it was labeled as one of the most authentic Japanese restaurants in the Cincinnati area. Most of the customers that came in were Asian and I heard some of them speaking Japanese. I went for lunch and got the tempura combo bento box with salmon. Although the food was very good, I thought the portion size was quite small for the price paid compared to other bento boxes I have ordered at other restaurants. I spent $16 plus tax and tip for the food pictured. It also came with miso soup and a salad. I ate everything, however left the restaurant still hungry. The service was also a bit slow even though the restaurant was not busy. There was only one other diner who ordered before me and I still waited quite awhile for my meal after ordering. The only waitress working was super friendly and kind though. Overall, I enjoyed my meal but not a restaurant I will go out of my way to go to again unless I’m nearby.

My new favorite restaurant. We drove an hour to try this place and boy it did not disappoint. I had the take keiseki meal and enjoyed every course. The quality of the food was exceptional and the sashimi was very fresh. The tempura course was outstanding with big shrimp and perfectly fried vegetables. If I lived close I would be here weekly. Will definitely bring my daughter who adores Japanese food. The only course I did get pic of was the assorted appetizers. Next time

Very authentic and good Japanese food, I had several Japanese friends in college and this is the place they recommended the most, hadn’t gone there since the pandemic started but it was nice to get some of their great food again. The waitress did bring us the wrong appetizer (ordered tofu and got chicken) but everything else was great. Despite the hiccup, would definitely go there again.

Very good and incredibly authentic. They are very busy and have a small seating area. They do have a traditional Japanese eating room were you sit on the floor. Sushi was excellent. Oishii Desu!

I’m glad this place has such a high star rating. This is possibly the most underrated Japanese restaurant in the entire Cincy metro area. If you like sushi, you will love this place. I’m excited to try the noodle offerings next time!
