The atmosphere of this restaurant and area where it is located is very cute. The staff was very nice, but the service was extremely slow for each request. It was very clean inside and seemed modern. The Shrimp bruschetta appetizer was my favorite part of the whole meal. The spaghetti sauce for the spaghetti was quite bland. The lemon chicken was flavorful. Tried the cassata cake, and that was good. Overall, we had a good experience and would come back.

I like this little Italian restaurant. The service was excellent. There was no room at the bar so we sat at a table and drank a beautiful caramel salt drink. Beautifully made, excellent drink for $8.00 we had a pizza appetizer, just wonderful. The waitress was very attentive. Parking was about 5 minutes away. If you are in Olmsted Falls you have to try this little gem. Once again, great service!

I went with Matteo’s for my wedding dinner and it was perfect!! We had a small wedding and used their upstairs private room. It was a beautiful time and their food was SO good. Like, amazing. I couldn’t have had better. Thank you so much to all the staff that helped make the night great

We did the Titanic theme dinner, it was so great! The Captain greeted us at the door, an interesting presentation by someone who worked on set design from the film, and awesome 10 course meal with great wine, thoughtful menu choices along with great service. We will be back for sure!

This restaurant is in the cutest location! I loved the small, close vibe the dining room gave. The service, on the other hand, was pretty horrible. They forgot to put our order in and, by the time they remembered, the restaurant was literally closing. The food was freezing when it came out! (when I got home, I heated it up and it was delicious!). The experience would have been much better with a different server.

Great staff at Mateos. The atmosphere was lacking. Very plain. But clean. Their grouper was good but too salty. Same with the scallops. The chicken parm was great! Don’t bother eating the risotto. Stick wit the Italian basics when eating here.

If you haven’t been to Matteo’s recently, it is well worth the visit, nice comfortable atmosphere starting, excellent service starting with the greeting by the hostess, or even Tom, the owner, when you first arrive, and an excellent variety on the menu complimented by the daily specials. If you want to arrive early, you can enjoy the lounge area to start your experience. Beyond the meal choices, don’t forget to leave room for a dessert and/or a gelato.
