The food here was delicious! I was a little nervous at the price, but the portion size is generous and the flavor justifies it, in my opinion.

I may have missed this spot the last few times I came to the Seattle Center for the ballet or special events, but so glad we got to eat here today. I’m a fan of fish and chips and Matt’s does it just about right. We ordered the beer battered Alaskan Cod basket along with the shrimp + crab fries for an upgrade of $7.

I ordered the Seafood Poutine. It was basically a pile of fries and cheese with a light sprinkle of seafood. Really, some little pieces of crab, one oyster? One tiny shrimp. I dug around in the fries for more….but that was it. Food and a drink $25. As you can see…..I didnt even finish it. Disappointed.

If you are near the space needle in Seattle and want a quick, delicious meal, you cannot go wrong with Matt’s fish basket. It is located inside the Armory, and it was by far a great choice.

Checked the reviews of eateries at the Armory food court, and this was the only one rated 4+ stars.

I’d say it’s an instant classic in Seattle. This is your place if you are looking for an unforgettable clam chowder and fish and chips (cod and chips). Even though it’s a mall eatery, the two dishes are crafted to perfection. The fries and garlic bread were delicious!

I keep expectations low when in any food court. In the past, this mentality tracked for the seattle center. It appears they have turned a new leaf and are pushing for food to be better. I will vouch for Matt’s fish. The portions and quality far surpassed my expectations. I snatched up a shrimp basket and was so pleased. It came with 6 very large shrimp. I’d guess they are U10s and for $19 in this tourist trap was an absolute steal of a deal. I suggest to anyone who had a hankering for fried seafood to come here.

WOW, the Fish ‘n Chips here are good! Some of the best I’ve ever had! The fish is really good, the fries are incredible. The guys behind the counter were very friendly and speedy. They never let the line build up, and they kept the orders coming, despite the place being full of people. I was impressed. Delicious food, and friendly, speedy service.

Nice flaky cod, cooked just right served in a bed of gently cooked skin on French fries. I didn’t use the tarter sauce, just a little malt vinegar adds a finishing touch
