I lived in Pburg 4 years. Ate at Matt’s 3 times. Worse restaurant experience ever. Food is horrible. Very slow. The only reason I or I should say we. I was with a group of people all 3 times went the 3 times was to see if it would have been different. This was like in a year period. You try and act like apple bee’s. And how come when I read the reviews you have to end with why are they trashing in you online?? Kinda silly if ya ask me. That’s what this platform is for.. I most definitely don’t recommend this place to eat at. There are wonderful restaurants just twenty miles away in cedar falls. And the ones in cedar falls are much cheaper.

Food was good. Beers weee warm and was offers cold glasses and mugs. Went with a large group and 2 in the party were not served their food with the rest of us. Had to thaw out more for the fish for their orders.

Tried to call and make an order at 10:10 and it says online that they’re open until 11:00. The person who answered the phone started out polite, but when I asked if I could make a takeout order, the woman said their grill was already off. I asked if that included pizza and she said yes, and when I responded confused and said “I thought you were open until 11” she just said “alright you have a nice night” which made me feel bad, like she was preemptively expecting me to be rude. I was genuinely just confused and now I actually am upset because it was clear that customer service was not a priority and I was discarded. Honestly just hurt my feelings, not what I wanted to experience as one of the last parts of my day.

We were in Parkersburg for a wedding this past weekend, and ate/hung out at Matt’s both evenings. Y’all, those burgers were freaking delicious! The beer was ice cold, the bartenders/waitresses were awesome as all get out, and Matt himself was a super swell guy. If I lived in the area, that would definitely be my #1 spot. If you’re in Parkersburg, you’re punishing yourself if you don’t go to Matt’s.

The food is delicious here. I had the sweet and sassy burger. It was so good. Pineapple, bacon and provolone cheese. The Bob is wonderful too. There are lots of choices for sides and all the ones we had at our table were great. Coke products served here.
