I just moved to Jacksonville and I am trying new places to find good spots and came across Matt’s Italian Cuisine. The pictures looked good and they have good reviews. Unfortunately the prices you see online are not the prices you will be paying, so when I went to pick up my order I was really surprised at how much it all was. But it was already late so I paid and took my order. The pizza was good but I can’t say the same for my sub or salad. The bread for the sub was so hard I had to take it off the bread to eat it. This place was not worth the price!

Conflicted on how to score this place. My stromboli was excellent, my husbands meatball sub was an absolute disgrace. Clearly these were microwaved frozen meatballs, cold in the middle, and mealey. I’d never expect from an Italian restaurant. Asked to take his off our bill because he ate half of mine, and they didn’t provide an itemized receipt to show it was removed. Paid $22 for a stromboli and two drinks, when the stromboli was only $14? Yeah it’s gonna be a no from us in the future.

You know it’s good when you forgot to take a picture of the food! Absolutely BEST Fettuccine Alfredo I’ve had in a VERY long time. The staff attended my large family after a funeral gathering with absolute perfection and class! Little hiccups on the drinks turned out to be a nice discovery to try their PIBB! Their Canolis were delicious too! All so delicious so I forgot to take pictures of the food and it’s now in my belly . To all looking for some REALLY good food and a nice atmosphere, I highly recommend.

Been going here a long time. Prices are steep but worth it. Their pizza is the highlight, but the chicken and eggplant Parmesan also go hard. (Tortellini bob is also a personal favorite of mine.)

I’ve never dined in before just taken Togo, and if it is half as good as it is at home then I HIGHLY recommend this place. The pizza is so flavorful and great quality ingredients. They’re cheese bread.. just wow. Please go and enjoy!

Went in expecting to get a Stromboli and decided on some pasta, instead. It was delicious, of course. Plenty of shrimp in my pasta~plate. They were cooked a little more than I would expect from shrimp, but good non~the~less. My~Man ended up ordering two plates of the manicotti, because two manicotti just weren’t enough for him. Enjoyed the salads as well and the endless amounts of garlic~bread. Thank You
