Ok folks. Here is the low down on this joint . I’m from Canada and just came back from CT for work purposes. I radomely found this little dive bar ( I mean that in the niceist way possible) because it was within walking distance from my hotel. The staff was welcoming ( big thank you to the bartender that kept calling me Canada lol) I met some of the locals. A guy that played in a rock band in the 70s and early 80s at the playboy mansion ( wish I could recall the band name) another film buff that bought me a brand of beer that was in jaws) . And a bunch of other friendly people. All and all this was a great experience. A little hole in the wall that is fun to have a few drinks. I will be coming back. Drinks were cheap. There was food but I didn’t try any. Thank you for making a Canadian feel welcome.

If you see this place from the outside and decide to go in, you aren’t allowed to write a one star review. It presents as a dive bar, and the prices & atmosphere don’t disappoint. The staff is incredibly friendly, on a first name basis with the host of regulars, and will make sure to be inviting to newcomers and make them feel welcome. Thanks for great service, Matt!

Went last night with my bestie and my bf, and not only did we feel immediately cozy and welcomed, Jenny, the bartender, was such a doll the whole time! She made the night fun, and made us feel like family. I think we have found ourselves a weekly drinking spot!

Stopped n for a quick lunch and ran into the day bartender. The most sarcastic, degrading person I have ever met. When I asked her for a menu, she told me that they didn’t have one, and that it was on the wall, adding i”f you can read.” Food was okay, greasy burger and fries. but this Kat person turned me off this place for good

If you like little hole in the wall spots . This is it . Not great first impression but the ppl were awesome , had a good chat with lots of the locals . Beer was cold and the server was friendly and great .

Horrible cleanliness, many things in a state of disrepair, very dimly lit so much so that I thought it was out of business. With that being said they finally fixed some of the most egregious issues with the men’s restroom and the drinks are still priced well and a better value than most bars I’ve been to. Be prepared to deal with the neighborhood (fall-down) drunks and (for lack of a better word) “weirdos”.
