I ordered a chicken katsu and a spam musubi because these are the basic food items of a Hawaiian lunch plate. The children katsu was little better than the chain Hawaiian BBQ place in town. The katsu sauce tasted just like the bottled stuff. The Mac salad was passable. Overall the plate was between okay and good. The spam musubi was good. All the flavors were there but the nori tasted a bit on the stale side.

I tried Maui Janes today it was good, I’m not a fan of purple cabbage but the dressing on the salad was great. The short ribs were a little fatty but overall I was happy with my dinner. I just seen that they had pineapple upside down cake , so I will try that next.

Really great food! Really big portions! I got the kahlua pork plate and it could easily be shared between two people. Everything on the plate was delicious and I also got the pineapple carrot cake and I highly recommend it. I did think it was expensive place to eat for a casual lunch, so it’s a bit pricey

Customer service is horrible. I walked in there were no other customers. I ordered shaved ice. Then after I ordered, 4 different groups came in and we’re served before me. One of them even had 2 shaved ice orders with their order.

The food was nasty , the mac tasted just like vinegar just vinegar… lady in the front was rude . Guys in the back were grabbing their phones and making the food , didnt see them wash their hands or put on gloves. Got a chicken katsu & bbq something two meals for $37 . Ridiculous … never again

If it’s near your house and you think “I might check this place out it can’t be too bad,” then think twice. It’s that bad. I couldn’t finish my loco Moco because it tasted heavily of gas. Also the poke bowl is smothered in sauce.

Great barbecue chicken with rice and macaroni. The real Hawaiian barbecue chicken, the macaroni had a great taste to it, must try if you’re in the area! I’ll be going back soon. Pineapple upside down cake was great also!

Beware of being charged a tip without your knowledge. Ordered 2 sno-cones and the employee tipped themselves. Also, they didn’t give me the flavor I ordered.
