We ordered the Beermeister Burger, the Runaway Freight burger, and a mint chocolate chip milkshake. The burgers were really tasty and came out hot. The milkshake was tasty but a little on the more melted side.

Picked up a Southwestern Veggie Black Bean Burger as takeout and it was SO GOOD! As a vegetarian, you know not all bean burgers can cut it, but this one was hearty without falling apart and had great flavor. The toppings, sauce, and pickled jalapenos were great. The bun was the best part. It was wonderful, so soft and fluffy. The fries were good, felt a little cookie cutter and not my favorite style fry, but still quite good. The ranch was great, probably made in house. I wasn’t in the restaurant long, but it seemed nice, had a nice outdoor patio, they had my meal ready quickly from a phone order, and the people that helped me were both very friendly.

I ordered my meat medium but received well done burgers & overcooked fries. low quality Milkshakes. The flies were Swarming at our food even though we sat indoors. The bathrooms at gas stations are cleaner than Maverick Jacks. See photos. I highly do not recommend this place at all! For a $20 burger, I expected higher quality food, service, and cleanliness

This place really hit the spot! Not your average diner. Cozy, clean little place right next to the railroad tracks. Has a lot of character. All of the food is amazing from the kids meals, to the burgers, to the chicken. Perfect experience from start to finish. Will definitely go back if we’re in the area again.

I had been wanting to try this place for a long time. My son loves the fried Pickles and the onion rings were tasty. However, we didn’t get the appetizer until three of us had been served their entries. The other two of us got ours at least 5-10 minutes later without a word from the server. Maybe work on the timing, and if something happens that prevents thebwholenparty being served together, say something. Apologize.

The burgers here are so good! I got the bacon ultimatum and it was packed with flavor. The bread is light and fluffy and the lettuce and tomato were very fresh. I also highly recommend getting some garlic parmesan french fries. They also have a nice list of beers and non-alcoholic beverages.
