Nice, casual bar with cheap drinks. The night we went, there was live music. There were some sound technical difficulties that night for the bands playing. However, I’m going to assume that was a one-off thing.

225 BBQ is located here! GO EARLY – THEY SELL OUT! Good eats. The ribs were delish, and the brisket was T-E-N-D-E-R! I like a little more seasoning, but the sauce handled that. Great hangout spot! The only thing missing is air hockey.

Fun place to go see live music. I go to watch my friends dad (Hampsters of Rock) and enjoy it every time! The drinks aren’t cheap, but they aren’t overpriced either. And the staff is very personable. The food situation isn’t ideal. They’re never serving any when I go (although they do have a BBQ truck outside). But if you grab a bite before going for a drink and a show, it’s a perfect late night activity.

Terrible place. 225 bbq is “good food” but I can just look and tell that the staff doesn’t make any money here. I asked someone to which they responded they get the tips from the food orders that close early and no one even asked me if o wanted to tip or where I could. Treat your staff better.

Good spot for a game. Dillon was behind the bar and took good care of me as an out of town visitor by putting my game on the tv and since it wasn’t busy he put the sound on as well. He also pointed me in the right direction to order the smoked brisket nachos. Tip – the brisket and chicken are both smoked in house which is unusual for a sports bar. The place is tucked back out of sight in what appears to be a little industrial area, and is not well marked but the challenge in finding it did pay off.

With 225 BBQ on site you can’t go wrong food wise…drinks are reasonable and staff is on point. A country music or Texas Holdem night would be awesome at this place.$$ I’m sure you’ve heard this before…but a better sign is needed outside!

I wish I could give zero stars. Female bartender had zero interest in serving anyone who wasn’t buying her a drink as well. I was served 1 drink. I asked 3 times over a 45 minute period for another drink. She had time to serve other patrons 2-3 times. I decided to tab out. 1

I did not expect much of this place based on the pictures, but was pleasantly surprised! Their online menu did not offer any craft beer selections, which is why I was reluctant to try. Turns out, they gave 2 local brews on tap! Both from Legal Draft down the street. Not fancy at all from the outside, Maverick’s is the perfect spot to watch a game! Prompt service to boot. Will definitely watch a game here next time I’m in town.
