Sports bar theme. Solid first visit. Will go back. Our server was prompt and friendly. We ordered mix of fries & onion rings (I enjoyed the variety), Firecracker shrimp with chili sauce, chicken strips with BBQ sauce, ranch & cheese sauce. Chicken strips were excellent! Shrimp weren’t traditional tempura as I know it, but they tasted very good. Reminded me of Fair Food. I am excited to try the Pretzel and order wings next time. $73 with 3 or 4 drinks, pre tip. I wish them luck and hope others show them support. Love local business options!

My wife and I ate here for the first time yesterday. I had steak, steamed veggies, and a house salad. Steak was cooked perfect and came out sliced (which I liked). Veggies were well seasoned. Salad was not iceberg lettuce, which was greatly appreciated. My wife had the organic hamburger with cheese & fries. Both were delicious. The menu had a lot of traditional bar food items, but there is a lot of “real food” that you wouldn’t find at other bars downtown. Our server Will was very attentive. Atmosphere was great. Looks like it will be a great place for before a hockey game or event downtown. It seems very family friendly for earlier hours (note: penalty box booths for several tables!), but very fun for those that are out for drinks and appetizers later on in the evening. Also looks like a nice place to watch a game (they have some of their TVs arranged like a scoreboard). Looking forward to going back.

Fries and grilled wings were both delicious. They are my new favorite wings in town. Great place, great owners, great staff, great atmosphere etc. Will definitely be back. Also installed Cambria countertops inside so it was cool seeing them in use.

Pricey food. Mac and cheese was legit but the serving size for $14…not worth it. Burger over well done when menu says they cook to medium. Even telling them I got no discount. For $19…not worth it Even if it was cooked right. Customer service was great but I probably won’t go back unless other places were busy… lol

We love Mavericks and are so happy they opened.. it’s sport themed and in their expansive menu, they even have some organic options! Thank you Mavericks! My burger and the fries (which I rarely eat!) – were The Best!

Disappointed. They should read the Wikipedia article on what a Cobb salad is, because their’s was missing some key elements. The French Onion soup was pretty terrible, and I’m pretty easy to please. It was sent back and they took it off the check. Without drinks, an entrée salad and a sandwich with a side salad was already $40, and it just wasn’t that good. Add shrimp to the salad, a White Claw and a tall tap beer and we had a lackluster $60 lunch. Not enough here to make us want to come back.
