Great country food. Love that they bring a basket of cornbread muffins to the table. Took a little long to receive our meals with no updates and was missing a side of gravy, which took a while to come out after we brought it to the servers attention….other than that the service was good and the staff was friendly.

When we ordered from here on January 14 my sister called our order in, I heard her ask for no jalapeños on her order. She cannot eat jalapeños due to Crohn’s Disease, the last time she did, she ended up in the hospital. Her husband gets out of the car and gets the food, her order has jalapeños on it so she goes in an politely says that she asked for no jalapeños on her order and for the next half of the order (we ordered from two separate names). The lady gives her the second order and kind of slides the plate my sister asked to be replaced back to her. My sister restates that her order needs to be re-cooked, and she seemingly takes it back to the back and redoes it. Well, we get home and the lady didn’t do anything to the plate except flip the chicken over so that my sister wouldn’t see the jalapeños at first glance. This normally wouldn’t be a huge deal if we lived close enough, but we live about 45 minutes away from Maw Maw’s. My sister can’t eat her order now because someone didn’t want to do their freaking job. And no she can’t just pick the jalapeños off, they were cooked with them and the spice of the jalapeños is what messes her stomach up so badly. Please review your staff.

4* because Left out side order on one plate but entre was good…..good hamburger steak PERFECT BAKED POTATO cooked moist. Catfish filet good flavor hush puppies cold but good flavor. Side salad good. Missing okra on one entree so had only baked potato and meat.

I just got the worse plate of food from here. Two Catfish fillets that were maybe 1/4 inch thick and was raw. Looks like for the price, the food should be edible… That’s the last time I go here.

Went with three other ladies to celebrate a birthday. The tables were not close to each other so was easy to social distance. There was so much on everyone’s plates we all had to get to go boxes. The fish fingers were delicious will eat the rest tomorrow. The staff were super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.

First and last time.. Had 3 whole catfish, greens, and french fries. French fries where hard, ate 2 of them, greens where good but, catfish must have been bad. Got home 2 miles away and started throwing up. Greens came up colorfully also. This is the following day and still can’t hold anything down. The waitresses where good and always checked on you. Just what I ate was horrible, smells like rotten fish everytime I go to the bathroom. Nasty!!!
