I have given this place a try a couple of times but I am not sure I am going to try it for the third. I ordered Mikey (pepperoni) and chicken pesto and also wings with lime and rosemary.

I never write something really bad from a place , but this place wins it.

Found this great gem searching through a large of amount of pizzerias in the area on Google maps. Had a less than desirable pizza experience in Mass before. Glad to see it didn’t happen again. We get there and find out the husband is from Budd Lake NJ. How could it not be great? We all loved the margarita and paradigm pizza. Lemon and pepper wings were delicious and piping hot. Pizza had great flavor with perfect crisp. Friends had the Buffalo chicken pizza and they raved about it.

Hands down one of my favorite pizza joints in the Boston area. It’s a bit out of the way but completely worth the journey for the blue ribbon BBQ pulled pork pizza and the marley arugula and balsamic pizza. Very small spot (literally one table and some bar space) – highly recommend getting takeout unless you’re showing up right when they open or at an off hour between lunch and dinner.

Cute little place. The pizza was great. You can see the cook make the pizza. As with any big city, expect to pay to park when dining in. I tried the Mikey & Blue ribbon.

Some of the best pizza around, great crust. Love the combination of pineapple bacon and jalapeño, or just a cheese pizza with crispy charred sopressata. Great lemon wings cooked in the pizza oven as well.

Tiny tiny hole in the wall. Great pizza. Just fyi the L’umina has no cheese other than the small infrequent blobs of ricotta. It is delicious but felt like I should share that. Saw lots of amazing looking nachos!

Wow delicious pizza. I went for the L’Oscar and L’Umina. Slightly expensive pizza but quality is excellent.

Allegedly Max and Leo Pizza and Frank Pepe pizza are based off of the famous Sally’s pizza place in CT. It is very apparent from both places that they share the same source.

I love pizza. It’s probably my overall favorite food. I’ve eaten pizza pretty much my entire life and take this quite seriously. That being said, the pizza from Max and Leo’s is the *best* I’ve had in the Boston area, hands down. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
