The dishes I highlighted were crazy good! Sorry they are open only 16 hours a week. I am sure it is for the usual sad reason many places cut hours!!! People! Go eat there and don’t wait for a special occasion. This is one of the finer dining places in Mount Vernon/Skagit County! Be a big tipper for the great wait staff.

Really nice place. Food was really good. I had the filet mignon and it was perfect. The garlic mashed potatoes are amazing too. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star rating is because we had issues with one of our orders and prices are a little steep. The waitress was on point though and made it right, but we couldn’t go here often due to the prices.

My boyfriend and I stopped here last night during our travels through out the Pacific NW and the food was amazing!! The tables are fairly private and after a day of driving, we appreciated that. The bread was artisanal and the butter was herbal. The salad dressing was smoky and the salad veggies were basic but super fresh and crispy. The steak was succulent and cooked to order. My bf had the beef pasta and it was al dente, the pasta was silky and the flavorful sauce adhered nicely to it. The wine list was impressive and our wine paired perfect with our dishes. We hope we can come back here one day!!

I think we’re done with Max Dale’s. Been here several times and it just doesn’t live up to what the prices are. We started with the house salad which was extremely bland and boring. I had the fillet for $45. It was good but the mashed potatoes and asparagus were boring. Husband had the strip steak which was mostly fat. Sister had chicken marsala which had two tiny slices of mushroom and a very boring sauce. Dinner for three with no alcohol and only one Coke between us was $142 plus tip. Just not worth the money.
