Max’s has superb fried chicken with crispy skin. The Pancet is excellent. This is authentic food with a distinct Asian flavor that a true lover of the Philippines can identify.

My family have been coming here for years. The Pancit Palabok used to be good and nowadays it is not. Not sure If they change the chef but the way they cook it is just bland. The Lumpiang Ubod is delicous but needs more vegetables like carrots inside. Now enough with the bad and let’s talk about the good. I highly recommend the Max’s fried chicken. It is tasty and not too dry. This time we got here right when they open. The staff is welcoming, took our order right away and served our food quite fast. The whole experience took an hour! Also parking is limited so be there early or prepare to wait. We will definitely come back for the chicken!

I just had an awesome time at Max’s Restaurant in Glendale, trying out their Filipino cuisine. Let me tell you, the Laing blew my mind! It was my first taste of it, and man, was it delicious. The portions they serve are huge, so you definitely won’t leave hungry. But what really stood out to me was how nice everyone was. The waiters there were super friendly and made the whole experience even better. If you’re up for some tasty Filipino food, you gotta check out Max’s Restaurant. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!

It’s been almost 20 years since the last time I ate at Max’ restaurant. It had a nostalgic taste. The fried chicken was as tender and tasty as i remembered. Don’t forget to try out their assortment of desserts. Ample parking space but make sure to add yourself on the Waitlist especially on weekends.

This was my first time at Max’s, a Filipino based chicken restaurant. My filipina girlfriend told me about this place, personally I love Jollibee! The thought was can Max’s be as good.

Really good food, pretty authentic Filipino cuisine. We had the crispy fried chicken which they are known for and it was pretty awesome. Lechon kiwali which also was very good, as was the garlic fried rice. The fried chicken was really crispy and juicy at the same time and without the batter coating that is normally associated with fried chicken. Just super crispy chicken skin and it was really good. The lechon was really crispy also and the fat was rendered just right so as to make it melt in your mouth. The garlic fried rice was really good with the other two dishes and all in all a great meal. We will definitely be back for more and would definitely recommend it highly.

Very accessible, it’s near the mall and has its own free parking. Lots of seating inside with different configurations. Good variety of Filipino food, service was fast and the food tasted really great. Despite knowing how unhealthy consuming chicken skin is, you really can’t help but eat it, it’s really good. Kare kare was great, not a lot of meat in it, lotsa sauce. Lumpia was good too. I’d say prices were in the mid range.

The food was amazing and the service was impeccable, I just wish the second dining room wasn’t so echoey. It’s just one big room with tile floors, so the members of our party with hearing aids struggled to hear anything we were saying. Maybe rugs would help? Otherwise, Max’s is always good, even if I prefer the one in Manila.
