If you are craving for authentic ramen or katsu curry, this is the place around State College, PA. Their ramen soup is not from powder like other ramen restaurants in downtown State College. The owner and staff are super friendly and nice. The place is clean and great dining experience. We finally found a legit Asian food restaurant!

The best ramen shop ever. My favorite spot in state college, great portions, great service, extremely quick. Must try their Tom Yum, Thai tea, and fried purple potatoes.

The ramen is delicious. You can tell they make an effort on the soup. If you plan to stop by, they only open during lunch

Tried this place out for the first time and I was so worth it! Ramen was delish and service was great! Still waiting on the Sushi (not available till summer) but if you like Ramen, this is the place to go. Can’t wait for extended hours also. The hours are very limited at the time since it’s the same chef as Kamari. This place will be one of my regulars ***we got the Spicy Miso pork Ramen and the Tom Yum Ramen (shrimp)

Just so delicious. I will be going there soon. It is just difficult to find the time to go for lunch from Penn State. I wish they served dinner and worked on weekends. I tried spicy miso ramen, I really liked it. I think it is better than the other ramen place in town. Great for cold days.

Amaazzzinnggggg!!! I am so excited my husband spotted this place on his drive home from work. I’ve missed authentic Japanese ramen and cannot wait to return to try more! I did the spicy miso and it was perfect! I love spice but I don’t like it to overwhelm the dish so that I can’t enjoy it and this was just right for me!

Relatively more authentic Ramen in State College. Very simple and delicious. Only problem is I rarely can match my schedule with the opening time. But keep up the good Ramen

I got the curry shrimp tempura rice dish and my wife got the spicy ramen with pork. Over all it was tasty. I like curry without all the coconut flavors that India is known for their curry, but this is my first Japanese curry. I will be going back to try the curry ramen. Over all a good place to try. Note that they are very very new and don’t also have a sushi chef. They are saying summer of 2019 for that. Parking is limited. My wife and I will eat here again to try the new flavors that they offer. I would rate 4.33 stars if I could via the app. Note that I don’t normally review unless it hits my 4 star and above status.

I think the menu items are a few dollars more than they should be. But the atmosphere and decor is the reason for that. The food though is OUTSTANDINGLY good! You have to try the takoyaki! I am going to try the chicken katsu next time I go.

Easily the best ramen in town! Great broth, tender meat, fresh veggies… And the egg is done perfectly, which is where other shops fall short!
