Food was mediocre at best. Went for a Sunday brunch with my children & grandchildren, we were super excited to try it out together. Pancakes were cold, bacon tasted like it came out of a microwave pack. Our waitress was nice but never refilled our drinks after we got food. Cute, quaint atmosphere though.

I showed up at 1 pm on Sunday 8/27/23 and was turned away. I was very hungry and just walked way down the road to see what was open. I hadn’t eaten all morning and afternoon. I have never been turned away before because there were too many orders ahead of me. I am not from the south and the small town hospitality is just a myth. I will never come here again and I will recommend to all of my friends, acquaintances, and coworkers of a large state-wide facility knows that this place has bad customer service.

The food was very good BUT you had to wait forever to get your order! Exceptionally slow in the kitchen. And once you get the food (which came out in 2 times) it was cold. It was extremely loud as well. You could not hear across the table unless you want to yell at each other in your party. Bathroom is joint male and female which is odd.

The service was excellent. The food was pretty good. I would like to have the sweet tea in a larger glass so I wouldn’t have to wait on so many refills. It also needed to be a little sweeter. It’s sweet tea – not a health drink. Don’t be afraid to add the sugar.

Not easy to find any eateries in this part of the country to recommend but Maxyne’s is one of them. Of course, like most places here, weird opening hours but if you happen to be here when they’re open, you’ll have a good brunch experience. We’ve tried waffles, chicken waffles, and omelets. The omelet was soso but the waffles were great. Nice ambiance, more like an alternative coffee shop. Friendly service. Will be back.

The best breakfast around. The food is cooked by the table, so everyone in your party gets their food at the same time. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing… fresh food. Great atmosphere… and delicious mimosas! My favorite brunch spot in the area.

My girlfriend and I were turned away at the door because they close in an hour and wanted to get off at a reasonable hour, two PM on a Sunday. Worst customer service ever.

Had “breakfast” here with my family. Everything was great, chicken and waffles, cheese toasty, and kid waffle. Will definitely be a staple in our dining routine. Service was great!!! The waitress was so sweet and the owner obviously takes pride in her establishment and work! Such a cute and quaint place.
