I sat at the bar for dinner because the restaurant was completely booked. The ambiance is nice, full house but not too loud. My service was great and the food was absolutely incredible.

A 5 star experience all around. The restaurant was completely booked so we sat at the bar, but it was still quiet enough to have a nice conversation. We got red curry, papaya salad, and pad see ewe, which were all wonderful. Good portion sizes: 1 serving if you’re hungry and 2 if you’re not too hungry. Lots of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. There is street parking nearby.

Amazing Thai food! Service was friendly and quick. We really enjoyed the Papia Phak sot and the Goong choop bang taud for starters. And for main course we had the Phad Khing Gai which was excellent as well. In addition to the great taste, the food was presented beautifully. For drinks we had the mangosteen and guava nectar. 5 ⭐️ experience!

Sorry to report we didn’t have a great experience here. We elected to reserve ‘patio’ seating, which actually just seemed like parking spaces cordoned off in the alley. The dishes were pretty good Thai food but they were light on the protein portions & Pad Thai noodles were over-cooked (a bit mushy). Our server was friendly but somewhat inattentive (felt as though the out back seating was lower priority – maybe?). We had to wait quite awhile after flagging him down for a 2nd round of drinks and the meal took a long time overall. If you’re staying in a nice Airbnb nearby, would def. recommend ordering take-out and enjoying at home (or picnic). Nice to have a good option for unique cuisine in the island though.

A charming restaurant with friendly and attentive service and interesting menu. Nice selection of local beer and cider and wine. Loved the mango-coconut roll appetizer- very refreshing. However, the Green curry eggplant and tofu was just a small number of Thai eggplant pieces and tofu triangles in a large bowl of too-sweet green curry sauce. And our order of oyster mushrooms with pork in ginger broth turned out to be a few pieces of dried cloud ear fungus, a lot of steamed onions and pork in a small pool of ginger broth. Not the mushroom dish that we were expecting.

This is by far the most delicious Thai food I have ever had, and I have enjoyed A LOT of Thai food. On top of that, the atmosphere and service were both fabulous. Even without their careful attention to detail, the food alone would call me back, however, the thoughtfulness put into this dining experience further elevated the great taste. I will now have to find a way to Vashon every time I travel to Seattle because this place is just that good.

May’s used to be one of my favorite places because their takeout was exceptional. I am sorry to report it has gone significantly down hill. An added annoyance is they prompt for a 20, 25 and even 30% tip on the online check out page.

Phat Thai with generously flavors and sauce. Fantastic Som Tum with no fillers like most other places, 100% green papaya with the perfect amount of tomatoes and long green beans.
