We ordered the Meatloaf, fried potatoes, and green beans for one dish, country fried steak, fried potatoes and Mac and cheese. The meatloaf was okay, the green beans tasted like they had been sitting there this morning (we went for dinner), and the fried potatoes were old, crunchy and cold. The country fried steak was dripping in grease, and I ate more grease than steak, and my potatoes were freshly made, you can’t give one person old potatoes and the other freshly made ones. Big negative there! Then I ordered a milkshake, and it was very bland, because thy ran out of bananas for an Elvis shake, so I ordered a cherry nut milkshake. All in all, for $32 I could’ve eaten Chinese and had a better meal. Such a let down.

Simple, delicious, comfort food served in a fault friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Everything tastes great and is made fresh upon ordering. If you like Coke products, try your favourite drink with chocolate, strawberry, or vanilla syrup in it! The milkshakes are thick and can’t be beat.

Quality is hit & miss at this location. For example, one day their meatloaf sandwich is served on thick Texas Toast, yet another day it may be served on regular, untoasted white bread. Both will cost the same $9. Chips, which were served with sandwiches, were stale both times. Waitress/cashier seems more interested with her cell phone than customers. Food is usually good here. Place is clean. Mayberry RFD/Andy Griffith themed.

I had a burger and a salad..the cook was visible from the counter and although, yes, he was wearing surgical gloves slapped my raw burger on the grill, turned around and dipped both hands into the lettuce container and proceeded to make my salad..cross contamination..who knows what else he touched before that. The place was filthy!! Do yourselves a favor and don’t bother eating here or do it at your own risk. In order to rate I had to give one star or else it would have gotten zero.
