The sushi was mostly rice. It barely had any filling. It was also super expensive. Not worth it at all. It didn’t even taste very good. No surprise considering it was just rice :/ Also, the white square is suppose to be avocado. Idk what it is.

It’s pretty good. The Hibachi Chefs make it fun. There are a couple of annoying negatives though. Firstly, they are not good about keeping drinks full. You’ll be waiting quite a while for a refill. Secondly, as soon as they are done cooking they start coming around asking if you need to go boxes. They try to rush you out, and that is not a good feeling. You pay a premium price, you expect a premium experience, and not to be kicked out the door as soon as the food is served.

My steak was overcooked and scallops were tender, with not a lot of flavor, there were egg shells in my rice, and shrimp was chewy. The chef at my table didn’t display any flair at all, everything is very sticky, very expensive for what we got, they were not good, we will not be returning, very disappointed

This is such a great place! Since the owner of this place changed and the name changed from Mikata to MaYo, this restaurant became a much better one with quite a few changes. The staff are very kind and the food was excellent. I was told from the owner that the meaning of MaYo is magical food in Korean, eventually means yummy food for everyone. I think this place provide such a quality and yummy food. Definitely recommend this place to all!

Just gave it a try since they got a new management and changed the restaurant’s name. Still it is the best Japanese dining option in this area. The foods were great and fresh. And the staffs were exceptionally attentive. The robot server seemed really cool . I will definitely come back and try different dishes.
