Delicious food and cocktails! We had a large group for dinner and there were so many compliments on the food and cocktails. We had several dishes and they were all good. The atmosphere is beautiful, lighting, color, cleanliness. Plenty of different spaces to enjoy with the lounge and restaurant space. The service was spot on too.

We stayed at The Duniway when we visited Portland and the Mayrose is the hotel’s restaurant. I often find that hotel restaurants are lacking but this one was a little different. They do their food pretty well here and the service is top notch. The only complaint I had was when we ordered the bagel lox to go and the bagel wasn’t toasted which made it taste cold and doughy. Other than that, everything else was great breakfast through to dinner.

Mayrose is the restaurant located inside the Duniway hotel. During my stays there the breakfast was always fantastic, the portions generous, the prices very reasonable, and the staff super friendly. The dinner however was always lacking in quality and flavor. The presentation was great but the flavor choices were off or non-existent and some of the pairings seemed like a strange choice. All in all I really recommend coming here specifically for the breakfast as it’s some of the best I’ve ever had.

Went during the Mercury’s Portland Burger Week ($8 burgers!) and everything was great! Due to the popularity of the burger week, it was busy in the restaurant. However, the service was still fast and friendly! Hosts and servers were kind and pleasant and treated guests well. Food and drinks were both tasty, and I would come back to try other menu items in the future!

We stayed at the hotel, and decided to stop by this bar in the lobby for drinks before heading out for the night. The bartender obviously ignored us for a while. Greeted those who came after us but were in suits. Maybe he had a bad day, so we were like it’s fine. He gave us our drinks and gave us the bill right after without even saying anything or letting us order more.

Very nice service. Got a very useful lay of the land from Dan. Pancakes and breakfast bang mi were quite good. Nice strong coffee. Later had the bread pudding and almond cake were were pretty good too.
