I ordered a ham bbq. it was terrible. It was just plain sliced lunchmeat heat it up nothing on it. What makes this barbecue? I asked the people that work there that they couldn’t tell me they say that that’s how the sandwich comes well then it should be advertised as a ham sandwich not as a BBQ. I through it in the trash. I let them know that it was dry had no flavor and that I didn’t eat it and they didn’t even offer anything other than oh sorry. I would have never ordered a plain ham sandwich!!!

Decent food, good prices. The only thing that irritates me is seeing a sign that tells me I have to be under 12 to order the kids meal. I mean, what does it matter? Are they afraid of losing money? The kids meal was small. It would be like going to McDonald’s and having them tell me I can’t order a happy meal.

The pierogies are deep fried and topped with butter and onions. So good. Great family style place. it gets busy at times, but worth the wait. It’s on a busy highway.

May’s has been an iconic fixture in my life since I was a kid. We stopped for ice cream on our way home from visiting an old high school teacher. It was a sweet end to a nostalgic day. Hot carmel sundae to die for! And it’s always fun to drop your trash in the panda head or elephant head garbage cans!

Have been going here for years but last two visits have been bad. Long haired kid took my order and asked if I needed receipt I said “no”, and it was a mistake. In the end after waiting while others received treats and food I had not received order for ice cream and fries, I went up for ice cream received wrong order then sat and waited another 2 orders of full meals before approaching again for fries. In the end they judged me and thought I was lying about paying for french fries. Apparently my appearance says thief. I left without receiving large fry too offend to watch anymore while others received orders and they corrected my order I have lost my appetite for Mays.

Very cute little place. Family of 3 cost $20 for full meals and drinks. Food was cooked perfect. Staff was kind. Clean place and clean bathroom facilities. And can I just say…BEST FRENCH FRIES IVE HAD IN A WHILEEEEE. only 10 minutes from danville hospital which was perfect for us with our kiddo. Plenty of seating and easy accessibility loved this place!

I will begin by saying this review only reflects our most recent visit. Normally Mays is a great place to go.
