Waited 30 minutes for a baked potato and 2 kids meals with only 1 other customer in the restaurant. Food arrived to the table cold and my baked potato was so hard the plastic fork couldn’t break through it to eat. My 18 month old screamed for 20 minutes he was so hungry. I ended up asking for mine to be remade to go and it was still just as pathetic. Will never be back.

The customer service is severely lacking. The employees have the most miserable attitudes. They walk around like they just don’t care. I have noticed that they’ll be in the back joking around and talking loud. I’ve seen them on their phones engaged in all types of conversations. I have gotten my food cold when it should have been served hot. I’ve gotten my food after waiting for 45 minutes even when the store is slow. The employees are the most miserable group of people I’ve encountered. There is a lack of leadership in the management and supervisory roles. There is a lack of discipline and a lack of work ethic.

I don’t really get the appeal of McAlister’s Deli. It’s not bad, but there’s nothing about it that really stands out to me. I’ve never caught myself thinking, “Man, I could really go for McAlister’s right now!” For me, it’s always someone else who suggests it, and I’ll half-heartedly agree because I can’t think of anything I’d prefer in the moment. Maybe that’s just my bias. I’ve never had a bad meal at McAlister’s, but the food is a little on the bland side, and there’s nothing I’ve had that stands out as excellent. I typically can’t even remember the name of what I get, which is indicative that the food isn’t terrible or remarkable.

This location needs help from the powers that be or you will lose your business and be closing. It’s a shame because money was put into remodeling this location recently. It needs new management if nothing else. We waited 30 minutes in line to order while employees walked past us and looked at us – and this was not the first and only time this happened. No one is ever at the registers to place an order. Another customer told us he paid and was waiting 45 minutes for an order that had not arrived. People in front of us walked out and eventually after 40 minutes of non acknowledgment so did we. We saw you lose at least a dozen or more customers. Shame because your menu and food are great – if we can get it! Doubtful at this point it’s lack of employees because it’s happened to us each time we’ve come there over the last five months. No more excuses because now it’s a management and franchise problem. Showman’s is getting all your business. Guess you are helping someone out because it’s definitely not your customers.

I like McAlisters, but after waiting 25min for my takeout order, (and still waiting now), I’m pretty sure it’ll be a long time before I come back. Yes, like everyone, they are understaffed… but there’s no concessions to make the place run faster. Like how about NOT taking door dash orders? Or how about moving the drink dispensers so customers can help themselves? Or narrowing the menu? Or prepping a bit better in the morning?

This place has the worst customer service I have ever seen! Every time I try to give them another chance, they find something to ruin the experience. No matter if it’s delivery, curbside, or in store pick up, the staff is beyond useless. The manager isn’t any better. I highly doubt they leave the office when a problem occurs even. I order door dash, and half my order is just “left” at the restaurant. Not once, but twice that has happened. How can you just leave an order at the restaurant? But they blame the dasher instead of blaming themselves. I order curbside, but have to walk in side and find it wasting away on the counter. Why offer curbside if you as the customer still have to walk inside and get your own food? I order in store pick up, and my order can’t be found, or the order isn’t ready even though you happen to be late picking up your order. If you could categorize the word lazy and useless, it would be the management and staff of the McAlister’s Deli in Milwood. Just disgusting.

Fair at best. Walked in, and to the counter, several employees walked past us and didn’t even acknowledge we were there. Finally, we placed our order and paid. Waited about 20 minutes for 2 half sandwiches and a cup of soup, which was cold. Restaurant was dirty, and messy. Will not return.

Stayed over at work til around 830pm did a 12 hour shift so I just wanted a baked potato and Mac n cheese…. Got to the store around 835, waited for 6 minutes before anyone came to the front. I was told by the employee it was too late for him to fix me a spud, I asked what do you have I need to eat something. He just looked at me, that’s when I asked for the manager, she came out and by this time I was over it so I just left out.
