Went in at 11 on a Thursday – no line at all. The cashier was very friendly and the gentleman who brought my food was pleasant. He checked on me and bussed my table twice while I was there. I had the Southwest Chicken & Avocado salad with chili lime dressing, which was delicious and plentiful. My food came quickly, restaurant was clean. Great job McAlister’s!

I came here a few weeks ago on my lunch break and the bread on my club was burnt. I came back to give them a 2nd chance today and mentioned this to the manager. She didn’t even say sorry so there you go. $10 is a lot to pay for some burnt bread. I will not be back.

The food was delicious! This was my first time trying McAlister’s and all i can say is that i will definitely be back! I had a Caesar salad and an unsweetened lemonade tea. The cashier was very nice and offered me a paper menu to look at when i let her know it was my first time eating there. The food is a little pricey but it’s very good. The lettuce tasted a little bitter but the buttermilk ranch they gave me balanced it out. There wasn’t a lot of Parmesan cheese or croutons on the salad so next time I will be ordering extra but it was good regardless. The store was very clean and smelled amazing and the employees looked clean and professional. The food did take a long time to come out which was a little disappointing and was the only downside to my visit. I’m rating 4 stars because although it was very good it wasn’t perfect! They could add a bit more toppings for the price and pick up the pace a smidge and it would be the perfect place to eat at!

I placed a $27 dollar order at 5pm for my lunch because I work at night. When I opened my salad my lettuce was brown, withered, and slimy! I ordered the savanna salad, which has always been my go to. I asked for extra cucumbers, cranberries, almonds, Gorgonzola, and tomatoes. My salad was smaller than normal, the contents were brown, withered, slimy, and smelled old. The chicken was pale as if it was pulled out of a bag and lifeless. In a nutshell I’m highly disappointed because that was my lunch for tonight (while everything else healthy is closed) and it’s not edible! I want a refund!!!!!

I wanted to eat here with my friends today before our class schedule changed. I walked in yesterday to look at the menu and see the restaurant and thought I would try the veggie sandwich they offered. We walked there for lunch today and the 4 of us all had different items. My veggie sandwich with a side and tea was $11.31, I believe the other 2 spent more. Carmen just got broccoli cheddar soup with bread then chocolate cheesecake. I enjoyed my sandwich, though I did not like the fact all I got were some veggies and there were not much veggies and mostly the 9 grain bread. I liked the bread and all, but I wanted the vegetables more. I’m not sure I would eat there again for me being a non meat eater. I think the others liked their food okie dokie. The presentation was nice the staff was kind and the restaurant was clean.

I was in the area and decided to stop in for a cheesecake and sweet tea. I went into the location In the Southaven Commons area. Customer service is horrible. I stood there 15 minutes and was never even acknowledged. No one said anything. I left without even being waited on. This use to be a good place to grab a quick bite to eat. Now you are lucky if they even acknowledge u at all.

As should be expected this was average. I ordered the choose 2 option with broccoli cheddar soup and the southwest chicken salad with chipotle ranch. (Or spicy, I can’t remember.) The soup was actually pretty good, creamy with good broccoli and cheese flavor. The salad was ok too but the “chicken” has no flavor whatsoever, and I received normal ranch and not what I ordered. So three items in the order and only 2 correct, 66%, that’s a D grade. The staff was super friendly though.

The manager started screaming at her employees while customers were still clearly in the restaurant and easy able to hear everything she said. Even if there were no customers her actions were extremely unprofessional and showed a lack of leadership and self-control that is required for anyone in her position. What a horrible experience!
