We were on a road trip and when we got to the restaurant there was only a few people there. No one was in line in front of us and we put our order in. About twenty minutes into waiting for our food it started to get busy. Thirty minutes In people who came in after us started to get their food. We originally were going to dine in so I went up and asked if we could get the food to go because we were wanting to get back on the road They asked our table number and said no problem. At forty minutes into the wait and many who came after getting food I went up and asked the status of the order. They said they we’re waiting on the kid’s pizza. Another seven to ten minutes went by and I asked politely if the pizza was done. The manager was in the back and when I inquired gave me a dirty look and put it on a dine in plate. The lady packing up the order told him it was a to go order. He took it back and another five minutes go by. At this point I’m frustrated and tell the lady I know this isn’t your fault but could I please put the pizza in a box so we can go. She asks the manager and he rudely slaps it in a box and throws it over the wall. I know this was the manager because when I asked she said that’s him. I have never left a bad review before but that behavior from a manager is completely inappropriate. My husband and I both work in customer service and would never treat anyone so disrespectfully. If you are the owner I hope you see this so you can have some customer service training with your management. I’m am sure this is not the way you want your customers treated.

Edited to 3 stars simply because of the unknown hours of operation. Most days if its after 4:30 or 5pm they have a sign put on the door that says closed due to staffing or something.. we have tried to eat here multiple times over the past 6 to 8 months and only successfully gotten to dine in a couple times. But the couple times we were successfull it was a friendly welcome upon comming in and placing our order. Food was prepared correctly and had a good taste. The sweet tea was great. Decent prices. Get discounts and specials with the rewards and app.

Ordered a giant spud..specifically asked for no black olives. It was covered in black olives. Recieved zero butter, sour cream or cheese. Obviously someone cannot follow directions or pay attention to instructions!

If I could give this restaurant a big fat zero I would most definitely. It wasn’t busy, the staff was slower than a turtle. The manager after he so called checked our bag still forgot to put forks, napkins, and our pickles in our to go order. The tomato cucumber salad was in big chunks, not properly marinated, our blts when we unwrapped it we were like where was the bacon it was more like sprinkles of bacon and over cooked. We waited longer than we anticipated for it not to be busy at all and when we finally got our bag the Manager said he’s moving faster than he can keep up. I was thinking you’re joking right? Screening procedures are available may help you identify potential problems for future staff if you consider evaluating. Good Luck!

I had the Roast Beef and Cheese 1/2 sandwich and 1/2 Strawberry Pecan Salad and both were delicious. They were a little short of help that day but over all it was a good experience. Menu is quite extensive.

Update: even though the hour change is not good, their food still is. They have real salads here, best bang for the buck. Chicken tortilla was awesome as always. This place isn’t expensive and has a cool atomsphere. It’s always good and fresh.

I got a cheddar broccoli soup and a spicy turkey melt. The cheddar broccoli soup was really good but the sandwich was like a salad with a couple pieces of meat. It was also not spicy whatsoever.

I’m disappointed in this particular McAlister’s. Not sure what’s going on but it seems as if they’re constantly downsizing their portions. I ordered broccoli for a side and it’s usually a pretty decent portion. I ordered broccoli today for a side and literally got 3 pieces of broccoli. When asked about it i was told this is their portion control and they can’t do anything about this. Besides the fact that I was shorted on broccoli the staff yelling from the front they want more broccoli was very unprofessional and nothing I’ve ever seen at any other McAlister’s. I have been unsatisfied in the past, but today service was quick, employees were super nice. The food was great and the tea was fresh. The restaurant was clean and not very crowded when I arrived. They got very busy shortly after, but food still seemed to come quickly. Restrooms were not super clean, but they weren’t grody.
