McAlister’s is one of my husband and I’s favorite places to eat. We come here at least once a week. The food is amazing, the service is top notch, and they are always playing absolute bangers from the 90s and early 2000s in the dining area. I have had McAlister’s cater several work events and highly recommend both their lunch and breakfast catering services. My coworkers are always begging to have McAlister’s cater our next corporate meeting. I almost always prefer locally owned restaurants over chains but McAlister’s is my one and only exception!

I got the New Yorker. It had a large amount of meat. And quite tasty. Next time I might include some veggies as the flavor kis just meat. The tomato cucumber salad was a bit underwhelming. But I think this place is a great value. It includes a side and a pickle. When most sandwich shops charge extra for those. You’ll definitely get full eating here.

See that empty plate? I liked it. I had the McCALISTER’S CLUB. Oh so very good! Excellent honey mustard. Also had the chicken tortilla soup. Wife had the horseradish roast beef and cheddar (hold the sauce) and she also loved hers!

This is a great sandwich and potato place. I got the French Dip, and could not believe how big it was, and that it was made with really good roast beef. We are so glad to have them here in the Grand Rapids area. We will be coming back soon to try out the other sandwiches and salads.
