So…where to start…short staffed…only one at the counter on a Saturday during dinner time. Waited to order…waited 20min on food and had to go to the counter to pick up. Waited at counter for someone to acknowledge I was waiting on my food that was dying at the pass. Food was cold,small portions of chicken salad and the nacho cheese seemed to be from days ago. Restrooms were disgusting and my feet stuck to the floor when exiting. Very unfortunate as this used to be a quality business. Lastly, look out for the upcharges…even our lemonade had an upcharge which was again upcharged due to it being strawberry.

Had lunch. Mine was the heated roast beef, horseradish, and chedder panini. My wife had the baked potato (huge) and a salad. Everything was fresh and good. I wish I’d had room for their great carrot cake.

My review is specifically about my recent experience at their drive-thru. I was picking up dinner somewhere else but my wife really likes the Passion Berry tea at McAlister’s, so I figured I would run through the drive-thru really quick to grab her a drink first….this proved to be a lengthy mistake. I waited for 25 minutes behind the one other car in front of me. Normally, after 5 minutes I would have backed up and left, but there was also someone behind me and the way their drive-thru is set up, you are trapped in. So I sat and waited….and waited. I get that restaurants are sometimes short staffed, but the thing about this that really irks me is that they have designated spaces right next to the drive-thru for people to wait in their cars while their food is being prepared. And they choose not to use them, but rather force people to sit there and wait. All I wanted was a drink. They could have easily directed the people in front of me to wait in one of the designated spaces while their 30-minute sandwich was being made, then given me my drink and started helping the next person in line, keeping the flow of traffic moving. Instead, after 25 minutes the person behind me finally gave up and left, so I took the opportunity to get out of there. My wife said this has been her experience at this location a few times, as well. Their drive-thru is very poorly managed. The food is good, but unless you want to dine in, you might want to reconsider.

We stopped for lunch h and were short on time. We originally said we would be dining in but it was rather busy and the food took longer then we realized. I asked the gentleman at the register if we could change our order to carry put l, which he made happen. He then delivered our food to where we were sitting, apologizing and told us he gave us cookies and a brownie for our inconvenience. We understood that things get crazy busy and expected nothing extra but he was kind and helpful above and beyond our expectations. We live out of state but will return if in the area in the future. Thank you, sir, for being wonderful.

The food is always great. The service is always friendly and attentive. Usually the restaurant is clean, but sometimes they are extremely busy and it can be difficult to find a clean table. But, I also love the fact that they have board and card games available for kids. It is a definite step up from fast food, even though it is served quickly. I like that you order and they bring you your food, they refill your drinks for you, and you don’t have to worry about your dishes / trash when you are done. And, the staff seem genuinely happy. Great job.

I paid 73.70 to sit in the parking lot for roughly an hour to receive cold and sweaty food. It took 3 different people asking me the name on my order before I finally got micro sized chicken fingers and ice cold soup! If it had not been for that last girl that bought me my food I have would made a broadway musical type scene in there.
