First time EVER dining at a McAlister’s Deli. This place is located in the heart of medical facilities. It was lunch time and this place was extremely busy with medical personnel. I think were the only one not wearing an ID badge or on a lunch break.

First time coming here and I was very happy with it! The food was very delicious and I enjoyed it a lot! It’s a little high priced for what you get honestly, the portions are pretty small for the overall price. But the quality of the food is great and I would definitely like to try it again down the road. Also Broccoli cheddar soup for the win!! It’s incredible!!

I’m Going 5 Stars here by the simple fact the manager- very visibly pregnant- training the young woman last night (2/28)was remarkable. I watched her as she greeted and took orders, ran food and all the while prompting the trainee how to take care of customers, pre-close etc. This woman was wonderful. She kept her cool and maintained a level head throughout our stay. Now, the food. Very good! I went Pick 2- 1/2 Savannah chopped salad and 1/2 Reuben. Very very tasty. Hubs ordered the delicious broccoli cheddar soup and the steak (a little well cooked, but seasoned perfectly) and Gorgonzola salad. ALL of it was wonderful. We’ve steered clear of McA’s for about 2.5 years after a few unsavory meals. We were craving salad and gave it another shot. So happy we did!

Their food is decent enough, but the prices are NOT worth it. The sweet tea is amazing, but I would just buy a gallon next time, and skip the meal. My “pick 2” meal, with a regular-sized sweet tea, was $14.88. As you can see from the picture, the sandwich was underwhelming, at best. There’s not enough of anything to justify the pricing.

With restaurant prices rising due to economic reasons and covid you know you will pay more for the same food. However the potato soup I got today was as watery as dishwater and had a comparable taste. Wake up people with so many restaurants offering potato soup there are no reasons to purchase this slop when I can drive a few blocks for much better.

The service at this location is always very friendly. Sometimes chains have a tendency to have better or worse food at varying locations, but this one always has good food. The salads are delicious and fresh, and their potato salad is the best. They’ve been working on a repair/remodel for several months now which is frustrating but they do have plenty of seating and it’s usually very clean. The lemonade and sweet tea are always exceptional at this location too.

My friend loved her salad and lemonade. I ordered sweet tea and their nachos that come with chili….that’s the coldest plate of chili nachos I’ve ever been served. I literally could touch the chili with my finger the moment it got to my table and it was cold.

Cashier that helped us out was extremely patient and polite. Although during a lunch rush with a line backed up to the door, an employee (assuming a manager-had blonde hair), cut the entire line along with pulling a friend from the line to help herself. She was off the clock and in street clothes. She put in her order and the friends order and then helped herself to the ice machine without washing hands before hand. It was very unprofessional. There was a customer in front of us that actually left due to the incident.
