This was a good after church Sunday lunch, I got the spud max (see pictures below), and usually don’t like eating here because I prefer fried chicken lol but it was still pretty good. Experience was average for the usual expectations and they did everything they were supposed to. (Although they are out of potatoes half the time ) I’d definitely recommend you try it, but it’s not for everybody.

This was my first visit to McAlister’s, and the hype greatly exceeded what I experienced. I went because I am a big fan of GOOD loaded potatoes, and heard that they had some. I order a potato, and then find out it’s the last one they’re making. I literally got the last, bottom of the barrel, potato. This thing was so dry, that little tiny cup of sour cream couldn’t be found once I mixed it in. The butter couldn’t even save it, and the potato was still hot enough to melt it. I don’t think I’ll be back, not for a while.

Shared a delicious Reuben sandwich and a tomato/cucumber salad with my husband. The staff was very helpful, Dean Martin crooning Christmas songs, temp of restaurant was perfect and the place was very clean. We really enjoyed our lunch!

My wife and I both ordered a salad when they placed it on the table what was obvious was that much of the lettuce was old it had already changed colors and that was obvious to us and should have been obvious to the staff in the kitchen and the person serving the food.

Jordan, the GM was extremely rude and racist to my Hispanic husband. I placed a pick up order through Uber eats for my husband to go get us lunch on Sunday, June 4th at 12:30 for pickup time. The place was decently busy, and the girl up front told my husband she’d be right with him which was absolutely understandable. Then Jordan came over in a very rude tone and asked my husband if he’d been helped yet. My husband told him no, and what the order was. Jordan had an attitude when he got the order. He didn’t even hand it to my husband, he plopped it down on the counter. and then he asked for mayo packets and Jordan was once again rude. Jordan stared at him and ina. Monotone voice goes “yeah” and then my husband asked him for a few. Jordan then walks off and comes back and hands them to him. My husband thanked him and he just walked away with An attitude. When my husband came home he was a bit confused and upset because Jordan was friendly to the white people who were dressed nice. But he shows up with tan skin and basketball shorts on because we’re Sunday cleaning, and gets treated differently?! So I call the store and Jordan answers. I ask if he’s the GM, he replies yes. Because my husband had seen he was dressed differently than the other workers. I asked him if it was a franchise or corporate. He told me franchise. I asked for the number. He asked why I needed it, and I explained he was rude and seemed to have a racial problem with my husband given that he was nice to the white people there. Jordan kept telling me he never handed out an order today so far, and then asked for my order information which I provided via the Uber eats pickup information on my phone and told him when my husband picked it up. He kept telling me he didn’t hand out orders in a VERY rude tone so I told him he had an attitude now on the phone with me further proving my point. He says “well yeah, but I don’t remember that order.” So you can have an attitude with customers because you don’t remember? He finally gives me the franchise owners number and I will be contacting her Monday as he says I can’t reach her on weekends which is fine. We usually come to this location after Sunday service at life church for lunch with our son. But this isn’t the first racial bias issues we’ve had with McAllisters so this will be it for us. My husband is a corporate manager, not a piece of scum. This was ridiculous. Just because he’s Latino and didn’t dress up to get our food? We will be telling everyone about this bias today and Jordan’s attitude. I won’t give my money to a racist establishment, or one that hires and allows racist behaviors from employees. Never again. You should be ashamed.

We chose McAllister’s because I needed a light dinner. I ordered the Pick 2. The sandwich was just okay but the potato soup was soured and not able to be eaten. Since all of the other soups were cream based or spicy, I didn’t even bother taking it back.

Usually great, but for an extra $1.25 I was only given about 2 bites of fresh fruit. Sandwiches today also seemed to be a lot smaller than usual.. not sure if this is the new norm so I’ll leave 4 stars since it’s usually always been fine.

Okay, first of all, McAlister’s, Panera, Schlotzsky’s, not my kind of places. But, it was Saturday evening, and we had run out of ideas. Well lucky me! I ordered an Italian sub sandwich, which I thought was a bit pricey at$16 or $17, can’t remember. What I can remember is that it’s a meal for at least 2, and it was very well-prepared. Great taste, and half of it saved for another meal. In fact, I think I split the 2nd half and we both had lunch.

This used to be one of my go to places. I always ordered the chicken salad sandwich. The last two weeks haven’t been good. Last week, the chicken salad looked and tasted different. I don’t know if it was old or they tried a different recipe but I ate just half and called it good. This week my sandwich had a croissant that was literally falling apart. Not flaky but falling to pieces. The bottom of the croissant was so hard it wasn’t edible.
