Everything about this place is on another level! They fry game is on point with the fish and the grits with cheese is out of control. Next time I go I’m getting two servings of smothered fried pork chops! Very professional staff. Prices are on point and worth every penny.

I luckily found this place. They only serve breakfast now I guess due to COVID. But for $5 I got the corn beef hash, potatoes and eggs. And when I was done I was FULL! And it was good!

Good breakfast for very fair prices. I did feel I got shorted on scrambled eggs for the LG breakfast but there were plenty of potatoes. Next time I’ll try grits and toast over cold butter biscuit… But it’s better, bigger and cheaper than McDonald’s or other local spots. Hard to beat what they offer at breakfast hours tho hands down.

Very good food at good prices. The only negative about this restaurant is standing room only no seats so if there is a long line you just have to stand there and wait if you want the food! But it’s worth it.

Don’t waste your time. I got breakfast of grits, eggs and a salmon patty. I could have used the patty as a weapon. The eggs were dry. So, I paid 5.00 for grits. They were professional on the call back.

Don’t overlook this hidden gem. The oxtail and ribs were some of the best I have ever tried in the country. About half the price that you will pay for this quality food in Raleigh, NC.

McCall’s and Son’s Restaurant is great place have nice breakfast and fellowship with other guest on related topics on sports and current events. Love dinner menu on weekends, great taste and flavor and most important thing when making soul food his not to high in sodium.
