This is America. A small family restaurant with table service or take out. The place is not 5 star dining if you are after fancy. This is 5 star if you are looking for local, friendly, courteous with a welcoming atmosphere and not bad food. I had the Local shrimp and Grits. Delicious and local shrimp. Not Chinese or Vietnamese shrimp like you get elsewhere. Highly recommended

Not the spot where you’d usually stop – but turns out it’s a Great little local stop on the road. The service was super friendly. The food was just like it was home cooked. Nothing chain about this spot. The atmosphere was old-fashioned and old looking.

A perfect small-town diner. Simple food served in a cozy environment with real rustic charm. We stopped on our road trip to have breakfast and it was delicious. Portion sizes were very reasonable for the price which was insanely reasonable. The coffee was strong and continually refilled by the attentive staff. Service was very friendly and quick. We would have loved to have tried many of the delicious baked goods that were listed. The Almond Joy brownies were particularly hard to resist. The lunch menu also looked really good with many specials that change daily. My husband particularly liked his potatoes which he described as delicious. If the road takes us back this direction we would definitely stop again.

If your looking for a great diner style burger the belly buster is fantastic. They have local shrimp served grilled or fried. We tried grilled with cocktail sauce. Fresh and delicious! Ice tea was spot on. Service great. Just wished they wore masks during this covid pandemic.

Great place to stop and and get some fresh food. Burgers are cooked to order and not pre made like those fast food joints. You can call your order in ahead of time and pick up. Fries nice and hot. Nice place for some good country cooking.

This was a return visit for breakfast because we enjoyed it last year. The food, service and menu options were great. We would prefer clarity in prices whenever a substitution is requested. We weren’t expecting so many additional charges as we went to the cash.
