Unbelievable. I was so excited to finally get to taste the food and it was so disappointing. I don’t understand how people love this food. The ribs, the main thing I came for were inedible and oversauced. Couldn’t take one bite. Fried chicken was old, oil and stale. The yams don’t have a bit of love cooked in them stringy and looked like baby food. I’m just in shock how the food was so old and not good. What a shame

Very dissatisfied. I used to come here all the time. Was in the are and decided to stop in. I got a slab of ribs and a whole chicken. The chicken was not whole. 2 wings, 2 legs, and 2 thighs. Very dry and looked like someone played over it. The ribs were cut through the bones with no meat.!! THEY EVEN CHANGED THE SAUCE. I’m so disappointed and I do not think I would recommend this place.

The BBQ sauce is so delicious that I almost don’t mind waiting in line 30-40 mins (after unsuccessfully attempting to call in an order) and seeing a small roach on the counter while at the register.

Man serving the food had on no mask talking directly over the food. I asked for smothered chicken and got bbq chicken ( because he was talking instead of listening ). A roach literally crawled across the counter while paying for the food. The food was cold. And my cornbread had all of this weird black stuff all over.

I brought a chopped barbecue sandwich from here with extra sauce ..I Loved the sandwich but it’s a hole in the wall type place.The parking lot has major pot holes ,the building sits back Slightly off the street.The customer service by the Young man behind the desk was very professional and welcoming. I havent been here in some time before I came on this day because it was an older man that use to be behind the counter with TERRIBLE customer service. They came a long way, just wish they move from the sketchy looking spot they are in..I will still go back but only in the daytime..
