Monday night at a little after seven. It was raining, hard. I was driving from Washington DC to Boston and just needed a break. I stopped in to the eastbound Framingham rest area to wash up and grab a snack. The rest area was almost empty and the McStaffers were simply milling around by the counter. I saw no mobile ordering kiosks so I walked up to the staff to place my order. Being in a service plaza, this McDonald’s does not accept the deals in the Mc app. Also, I found the pricing to be higher than other McDonald’s. Food was average McDonald’s.

For fast food, I have to say I’m actually really impressed with the care that the staff puts into serving food. I ordered two cheeseburgers and the cashiers were really friendly and then when I received my food, it was neatly wrapped as well as put together burgers! Ordered via the app ahead of time, Unfortunately they didn’t have my beloved Hi-C orange drink, but when I got to the second window, they let me know that, and I switched to a Sprite, no big deal, it happens. We had also ordered a second drink, a Frozen Wild Cherry Fanta, that was also not available, but they just didn’t do anything about that. I had to call a manager over to get a refund for that drink.
