I’ve managed a McDonald’s in the past. Quality was absolutely unacceptable. Reg meat looks like it was burnt straight from grill and then left in cabinet since they started serving lunch this morning. Dry and disgusting. Buns were hard and stale. One bottom bun was missing. Fries were cold. Manager fixed the order but unfortunately this just isn’t acceptable for a fast food franchise as large as McDonald’s. Do better guys.

Customer service was friendly via drive-thru. Got my food, opened it when I got home. The presentation looked sloppy. When I picked up my chicken sandwich there was a dead bug laying on the lettuce. Absolutely disgusted and annoyed!! Yuck! Immediately took pictures and then threw it away. Then, I called so I can speak with the manager to tell him/ her what happened. Days later, I returned to West View McDonald’s to get a full refund. The manager was cooperative, very apologetic and gave me a full refund with no problem. He even said he would let his GM, (general manager), know about this incident and he will personally check the food in the back for more bugs. (But I don’t know if he really did any of this.). I will not go back to this McDonald’s again because this was my second unfortunate mishap. (Another time, my chicken was hard as a brick, no exaggeration)!

Honestly it was mediocre. The manager was outside talking to some guy and the cashier needed change to complete my order. They went to tell her about the situation and she just kept on talking, so I walked out the store, passed her, got the correct change out of my car, walked past her again as she was still talking and gave the cashier the exact change so I could leave. It was crazy. A lady in the store, working drive-thru, stormed outside and had to tell the manager again, that she needs to come in and that the cashier needs change. It was crazy . The staff were okay except the manager. She just didn’t give a !

Order just thrown into the bag I ask at the drive through for extra sweet and sour they tell me to ask again at the next window where I was rudely told “it’s in the bag” like it was some kind of inconvenience to do a job you applied and show up for?? I pull away brushing it off to check my bag not only did I not get my extra sauce there was no sauce and that’s when I noticed all of my things were just thrown in there not to mention I waited 30 mins in the drive through to get this kind of experience did not want a refund through the food in the next trash I found and am now down the street enjoying my time at KFC. Seriously need to stop hiring lazy people!

This is par for the course for this place. It’s a 50/50 if you’re getting everything you ordered and if you have to reconstruct your sandwich. It’s a last resort but I’d rather just to go the Taco Bell if I have to.

This McDonald’s in West View is mere minutes from my family’s house, so when I’m in town and in a pinch for something quick this is the spot. Even when there are long lines they move fast. I’ve both dined in and utilized the drive thru here, and I have never had a problem or bad visit. The workers are always nice, the restaurant is clean, etc. Its even in a cool location on the side of the hill where it is the only business. Only thing that would make this one even cooler?? Put in a Playland. Sure its probably not feasible, but one can dream back to the 80s when things were much simpler…and big macs were $1.60…
