I got to the drive up box to take my order the guy comes on and says hey I will take your order when I change my batteries in my headset. I say okay no worries. I then hear a women take the order of the lady behind me at the other box and I’m still sitting in the drive through holding up another customer because y’all didn’t want to take my order first.. so I sat and thought okay she will take my order next no worries..a couple mins went by and nothing… so I just drove off and didn’t order anything and told myself when I come to colonial Beach I will not use this McDonald’s I’ll stop in king George if I want anything….. make it make sense please….

Got there at 10:20am. 10:31 “we quit serving breakfast at 10:30”. Me “it’s 10:31 iv been in line since 10:20. I’m currently looking at 3 huge posters that say 11am for the steak sandwiches. “. Them ” no we do not!”. At 10:49 I pulled out with food I did not want.

I have to admit and give credit where it should be. This is one of the better Mc Donald’s, the inside was very clean, the people seemed to be working as a team. They had a guy running orders out to people waiting who had ordered on line. The only thing that didn’t sit well was the egg McDuffie I got. Tasted like eating a rubber tire. Maybe just a bad one, hopefully the rest of the food is better .

Atmosphere is good and friendly, staff isn’t always the greatest. High stress environment is likely the cause of it. Great for kids, semi clean play place. Food gets cold really fast if you don’t eat it immediately and the fries are always too salty.
