This place use to be the best McDonalds but in the last year it’s gone down hill at least drive thru wise. EVERY single time I’ve been here the past few months I’ve had to pull around and wait for my food. Most of the time it’s just 2 cheeseburgers. The last time I waited for over 20 minutes while they pulled around another 6 or so vehicles behind me not including the 3 or 4 that were infront of me already. The parking lot was full with drive thru people waiting on their food. I was the last out of all of us to get my food and the parking lot was empty by the time I got mine. I waited so long I was aggravated, needed to get back home to my kids, and assumed since I waited so long all my food would be there…when I got home and took food out for my family one of the things I ordered wasn’t in there. Really irritating prices went up, people are struggling to make it, just wanted to treat my kids to mcdonalds breakfast since we never do and get home to one of their food missing!

Little slow even with 2 drive through lanes. Would be amazing if they could a sign or something for people waiting in long drive through lanes to view the menus. This could likely expedite things a lot. The way it’s set up you can’t see the menus in either drive through lane until you are parked directly in front of it.

My biggest issue is in the evenings. If my wife orders the quarter pounder it never fails we always have to pull up and wait. Due to physical problems I can only eat the chicken or fish and I love the McChicken but they have starved the chickens where they purchase them from because mine are now thin and smaller than the bun. I wish they would have kept the healthier chickens, even it meant raising the price a little. I also am having problems with my food being cold but I will blame that on the toppings being added to very very little meat. I wish they would put a healthier place in to eat, like Burger King, or Subway but then the community might become somewhat healthier and RGH couldn’t deal with that kind of an impact.

I work in Spencer and this McDonald’s food always tastes so much better than others. They fry their nuggets perfectly (you know, crispy on the outside and not slimy in the middle like some), their fries always taste fresh and when I had an order for the hospital – a large one – like 5 minutes before closing (it was hard to get over there in time!) they were very understanding and decent. We felt sooo bad but they were not rude about it and I wasn’t afraid that someone would spit in it for being so late to closing time, like I would be at some other place (lets be honest). Thanks guys for being professional and always so nice every time I come through. Workers are very nice people. Genuinely decent and remind you of that small town charm that people think of on tv!
