This place always has the most hot, most fresh french fries that I have gotten at any McDonald’s anywhere! The staff is very friendly. I’m a drive thru customer so I cannot comment on the atmosphere other than the bathroom wasn’t clean (McDonald’s bathrooms used to be the cleanest around back in the 1970’s and 80’s… not anymore.).

Corporate should visit this location and shut it down. Mc Donald’s exist only because of its name to begin with. You don’t go for service, or good food, you go because it’s part of our heritage. But this place in particular is a blaring endictment of Corporate America. Nothing but underpaid employees who are there to make a paycheck. No regard or concern for customers. I walked to this location on Fort Macon Atlantic Beach, NC to get a happy mappy meal for my toddler. It had a sign on the door that said lobby was closed due to understaffed. The door was propped open. I asked the employee who was sitting at the table playing on her phone what I was to do. Her response was if I didn’t have car then I couldn’t get anything. As I was leaving, there was a fat women with a red McDonald’s shirt and a bald greasy man smoking in front. A teen boy was straddling the door talking to them. A lady at the drive through and like two more inside. Like 7 people, one of them seemed to be working and the others were sitting around shamming… All so, I couldn’t get a meal for my kid… Why even keep it open… All McDonald’s is doing is bleeding money paying employees who don’t work.
