I was so excited for this McD’s to open right beside my work. For some reason there’s always an issue with my food. They often forget a sandwich if I order multiple. Today, I ordered online a spicy mccrispy and a sweet tea. They gave me a chicken sandwich with just mayo even after sending me to wait at the 3rd window.

They were closed early, but there no way of knowing that when pre-ordering on the app. Drove all the way there to be told they were closed due to short staff. But there were at least 2 employees, so enough to run drive-through. I’ve worked a fast food drive-through with only a couple of people before, but no one wants to work anymore.

It’s not rocket science. And yet no one knows what to do, when to do it, or how. Everyone stands around with their arms folded. And everyone moves about as fast as molasses in Canada in January. After 3 visits, it’s time to go elsewhere. It took 20 minutes for a simple mobile order to be served. And everyone in the kitchen is constantly grabbing their dirty cell phones from their pockets and then putting them back in their pockets without washing their hands. All while preparing your food.

Please save you the trouble and don’t visit this McDonalds. I waited 28 mins for a McChicken bundle and a small coke!!! 28 MINS! Waited in the curbside pick up and watched everyone else receive their food. When the employee came out and I asked her “How much longer on my order?” She looked at me like a deer in headlights and said and I quote “ i don’t know, I’m just doing what they told me to do” . Ma’am what??? At this point I was over waiting and headed inside to grab my order. RIDICULOUS!

Why has it become so difficult to get service/food under 17 minutes? Yes. I timed it after the first experience. Those of us out here working and taking care of the Villages are not provided a lot of time for breaks. so to go to this place and wait more than half your lunch time for your food is unacceptable. If this is gonna be the new norm with the franchise, they should put estimated wait time at the beginning of the line so you don’t get trapped in it. Or just go robotic. my God what are we waiting for. It’s obvious humans can’t do that job anymore. Yeah I’m a little ticked off this morning.

I waited 15 minutes for caramel iced coffee and a chocolate chip cookie, other people were getting there food and when I finally asked about my order, I was told not so politely to hold on it’s coming. This was my first time at this McDonald’s and most likely my last time at this McDonald’s.
