Avoid Johnstown McDonalds. They have limited staff. We waited 30 minutes for a very simple order, and then it wasn’t even correct and it was cold. Nobody manning the front cash registers. The 3 people working there were grumpy and making excuses. Excuses may be valid, but that isn’t how customers are treated.

The older lady at the payment window was very personable and seemed happy to serve me. Her voice was pleasant and upbeat. She had a smile on her face when I pulled forward to pay. This is so rare! I appreciate it so much! No one under the age of 40 knows the meaning of service. I’m usually made to feel like they are doing me a favor. This lovely lady deserves a raise!

Ordered a quarter pounder with cheese and bacon no bun(my wife has a gluten allergy) meal. Had to tell her 4 times I want the meal and still didn’t ask me for the drink I had to tell her as she is asking me if I’m done. After I get the food there is no bacon. I live an hour away from here I just stopped on my way through so I couldn’t really go back for a replacement. The rest of the order was ok.

I came here to use a coupon code that I have through the app for a free sandwich, gave them my code, and they still charged me full price. The woman at the window knew it, and just waved me on through, and said it was already paid for through the app, and did not fix it. Went through the drive thru and ordered 4 big macs for my self and another veteran who was with me. Got our food and driving back to the American legion and my friend said dude there’s no beef patties on my big Mac. So i went back to the restaurant and was told by one of the kids working there, that they didn’t have a manager and my food was non refundable..I said then I will call the sheriff because you took my money and I didn’t get what I ordered. Finally the manager came out and I showed her all 4 big macs and she laughed and said there pulling pranks on people. I looked at her and said messing with someone’s food isn’t a joke. I ask for my money back and as I was waiting for my money another customer which was an elderly lady and her husband was returning there food as well. Guess what no beef patties on there sandwiches either.
