Food and service was fast& amazing. However the restrooms was DISGUSTING and NASTY. There toilet paper all over both restrooms, paper towels and other trash all over the women’s restroom. There was so much water on the sinks it was puddling on the floor. My husband said it looked like someone broke apart their weed on the sink in the men’s restroom. There was food all over the floor by the restrooms. BTW this was the McDonald’s on Freedom Dr in Springfield IL

Unfortunately a very bad experience compared to several months ago. The service was atrocious. About 7 workers were standing behind the counter talking loudly, cursing and ignoring anyone that walked in. I used the kiosk to place my order and took the tent # to a table inside the play area. All the empty tables were dirty with a few still having tents left behind. The trash was near overflowing. I wiped one table off myself. Instead of bringing the order to me, my tent # was yelled out instead. I waited and a worker finally brought my bag/happy meal but told me I needed to go upfront to get my cups for drinks. There were no straws made available so I had to interrupt their conversation to ask for straws. The workers continued to talk loudly about various inappropriate subjects and cursing the entire time. I hope this doesn’t continue as my kids did like coming here to play. Very disappointing experience.

I went through the drive-thru and the young lady taking my order apparently did not understand what I said, instead of saying excuse me or I didn’t hear you she rudely said what did you say. I repeated my order and then she said, huh. I repeat it my order a third time and then the young lady said okay baby come to the first window. I am almost 60 years old and this young lady look no more than 18 or 19. It is total disrespect in the professional world to call anyone baby. I reported this to the manager.

Pitiful lady were in floor talking, even manager. I said hello I need to speak to manager and lady in purple shirt,which black told me she was manager. She started talking my back order then this black lady came from back saying they did not see me ,which was a lie. The two ladies standing right there talking when I was standing at counter were looking at me. Then the the stupid lady that came from back said you have another option to use the order thing in lobby to order my phone. That lady had no business saying anything when manger was taking my order. This McDonald’s always has negative reactions to customers and they always get order wrong and stand behind order counter in middle of floor talking while looking at people waiting to helped. One time this girl said she knew me and was flirting with me and told her I was married and not from Springfield; always poor service all day. I went another McDonald’s on Monroe Street and Genera Manger and manger if this store listened to me and it upset her and she told me I am calling that store. It should be in camera when I was at store in Freedom Drive and other store I went to. I won’t to point out fact that I am disabled and had to eat to take my medicine. I don’t normally write reviews. I usually overlook bad experiences and write it off as being the product issues for being busy. This wasn’t the issue this case. I got a Mcdouble and a Mcflury. The Mcflury was fine but the Mcdouble wasn’t. I took it out of the bag and noticed the wrapper was wrapped very awkwardly. That wasn’t the issue though. I opened it an not only was it not a Mcdouble, but there was also a bite taken out of it. I brought it in and no one could tell me what happened nor even apologized for it. Will not be going here ever again.

Came for two egg McMuffin at 8:30 am. Told to wait in the parking lot with 4 other cars. Took 23 minutes to get the order. They bought out all 4 orders together..! So how long did my order wait to get cold until all 4 orders and someone decided to bring them out to us? Food was cold and squashed. Guess carrying all the bags required crushing bags to carry out. The staff was very nice this is just another leadership issue.

Pulled up to the food window; young lady had her back to me texting. She never turned and said anything. Manager then came to the window and said pull forward behind another vehicle. Lady in that vehicle got out of her car and went inside to retrieve her food. When she came out….she said she waited a long time for her food and suggested I also walk in there because they were too lazy to bring it out. I then waited a long while before the manager brought my food out with another customer’s food who was waiting. Manager looked into my bag and said I’m not sure if this is right look at it. WOW!! Biscuits and gravy were horrible and not much more than a spoon of gravy. The only positive thing about this location is the gentleman that took my money. In the future I will drive to Chatham for my breakfast…. preferably Hardee’s.

Came here on my 30 minute lunch break because it’s nearby. The app would not work and kept saying my payment method was wrong. So went through the drive thru to order 2 spicy chickens. I pulled up and paid and immediately got sent to the side lanes to wait, for two mchickens. So I did. I ordered right exactly at 11am, and at 11:17 my food was still not ready so I went inside. I waited a few minutes and then they finally gave someone a bag to bring outside. I told her it was mine and then the cashier asked me what I needed as I was leaving, and when I said I had been waiting for twenty minutes for my food and you cost me my lunch break she didn’t care. I wasn’t able to finish my food unfortunately, because they wasted 20 of my 30 minutes on lunch break. Thanks mcdonalds

I can’t count how often I get parked in drive thru to wait for my food, to get missing parts of a meal, a whole meal once and the kicker someone put a burger patty on my chicken sandwich. I would drive and additional 4 mins to go to a better McDonald’s. To get service with out the attitude.
