Wasn’t too busy when we came around 2pm on a Monday, it was clean, hardly anybody inside or in the drive thru. You place an order at one of the kiosks. If u pay with card it will give you a receipt with your number. The kiosks are easy to navigate and you can customize your food (no pickles, no onions, extra let hip etc). Cup of water is also available for you to order on the kiosk and will come out when your order is ready and your number is called.

It’s a shiny new clean location, & the food is usually good/fresh, but the customer service is a little lacking. I once lost 25(+) mins trying to get my order, & they really didn’t seem to care or apologize. For the time invested we could’ve sat down, been served, eaten, & been on our way, but when you’re a curbside or drive thru customer there’s a lot more apathy.

Let me start by saying thank you Fate McDonald’s team. Since moving to Royse City in 2009 this is the most anticipated opening I have been apart of, you guys are located just 5 minutes from my home, and I like to make visits to your location as often as possible. Unfortunately the actions of a select few employees recently have made me reluctant to visit this location any longer. Conversation can add up to 80% of an interaction. Regardless if my food is thoroughly cooked, or if the team remembers to send out all the straws. THE WAY YOU INTERACT WITH YOUR GUESTS DIRECTLY IMPACTS THE SERVICES PROVIDED- With that being said I would like to talk about my experience on 6/17/2023. I arrived at Fate McDonald’s around 9:35PM and made my way into the drive through line, the line went quickly and I made it to the drive thru order screen around 9:40PM. A young lady began taking my order, while I was saying what I would like, and what changes I would like she began getting verbally aggressive towards me. I remained calm through the entirety of my order, even thought I felt rushed and unwelcome. When I made it to the first window I found out the person taking orders was Vanessa. Unfortunately this is not the first time I’ve had issues with her. Usually the customer service is unmatched, even during rush hours or later in the day. The same can not be said for this young lady, Vanessa is one of the most lousy aggravating food workers I have ever encountered. Her lack of empathy for people shown in the short term is unacceptable, and a directly reflection of her character quality in life. When I payed for my order she did not say a single thing to me. When I asked to add a drink she sulked at me, kissed her teeth and added the drink. I had to verbally confirm what my order was because she did not read it off. I had to request my receipt, and she once again sulked at me before handing my receipt reluctantly. Fortunately the rest of the staff did a fantastic job confirming my order was correct and I received all the things I asked for. Thank you for taking the time to read this review, and I hope some action will be taken to uphold the reputation of an other wise fantastic place to get a quick, warm meal.

Went to location 7/27 at 10:14pm to get our evening frappes which is 3-4 times per week. We placed order at 10:22 in thru and the young girl tells us “we’re too busy right now and we don’t make frappes this late” so we backed out and took our dollars elsewhere. Definitely will not give our business to them anymore as she also had a DONT CARE ATTITUDE. This is not the type of person that would work in my drive thru

Terrible service. I asked which window do I pick up from since they didn’t say anything. They said either one. So I went to the furthest one and no one was there. People behind me got their food and I had to honk my horn multiple times to get someone’s attention. I’m not sure what the point of two windows is if one is abandoned. The food was no longer warm by the time it got to me. Plus they forgot the ketchup and the extra fries on the happy meal. I’ll go to another McDonald’s next time

Came an hour before closing for a McFlurry and they said they aren’t selling any ice cream or frozen items. Okay sure no problem however an employee was literally making an ice cream cone as we were paying! You’re in a service industry to serve customers.

I ordered my 3 combos they gave me 2 went back i ordered fries they forgot that like they couldn’t hear ME then went for THE THIRD TIME i ordered a cheeseburger they gave me a cheese burger if you call it they gave me just buns and slapped with cheese with not meat NOW THAT’S JUST RUDE AT THIS POINT.
