On occasion I will try an old American fast food chain just to see what the hell is going on. This McDonald’s in Castro valley, was pretty much exactly like every other mcdonald’s, which is to say, the dream of its founder Roy Kroc, and that the hamburger, fries, and Coke tasted exactly like the hamburger, fries, and Coke that I bought on the East Coast 10 years ago. Generic, predictable, yet satisfying. My waistline will pay the price later.

Guess they r offering small plush animals from National Geographic in Happy Meals for the kiddies. While I didn’t go inside this location, I know there is a children’s play place here.
