This is a great stop for breakfast with very unique decor and a comfortable atmosphere. I had a western omelette that exceeded my expectations and some delicious home fries. Prices were very very reasonable and you dont leave hungry. The boy even ate all of his eggs which is a rare occasion. Service was fast and friendly and overall a great experience.

My daughter has spagetti & meatballs, we loved the meatballs & the sauce. The meatballs was moist & meaty. I had the 4 pc. fried chicken with mashed potatoes, brocc./w/ cheese. Everything was wonder the chicken need to b more meaty. But I did love the chicken, the breading & the chicken was fried the way i like it. Moist & juicy inside. Our waitress was never nice & I would make the 31 minute drive everytime to eat there again.

Have memories of this place from my childhood, haven’t been here in two decades. Decided to try it again after talking about it with someone. First and foremost, the most wonderful waitress. Not only friendly as can be, but fully honest about the menu, saying which were frozen items and which were made fresh in-house. Always appreciate the honesty.

The only reason why I’m giving a five star rating is because that’s as high as I can go. The food is excellent, the service is wonderful and the atmosphere is cozy and warm. I’m from North Carolina and when I travel to Carbondale, this is the only place I eat at. I highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed!!!

2/3/23. 2 pretty small burgers (same size as a fast food burger, maybe twice as thick), 1 small fry and 2 sodas cost $20, plus the $5 tip. We were wishing we had gone somewhere else.
