This is an excellent restaurant if you’re looking for somewhere with a good atmosphere and presentation, but not if you’re looking for fantastic food. Don’t go on bingo night if you don’t like loud noises. To be fair, everything I tried was good. The salmon cakes especially. I wasn’t a fan of the fish and chips– the breading was excellent but the fish itself was dry, and the tartar sauce was very sweet. The caramel pudding dessert was delicious though. And all the staff were very kind. It’s a great place to bring your visiting family if you live in The Villages.

We dined here on Friday night. We had a reservation through Open Table. The weather was beautiful so we asked to sit on the porch to hear the band and enjoy the lovely evening. The atmosphere is great. Inside looked very nice as well. The hosts were efficient and pleasant. We had the fish and chips and curry dish. The entrees were good. We also had the bread pudding dessert which was really delicious. However, the service was so poor it really detracted from our meal. Hopefully that was an isolated incident. We will try them again when we are in the area. Food 4 stars, service 2.

The food, atmosphere and service were great! Except…a true Scotch egg has a runny yolk. I was looking forward to that. But it was still tasty. The shepherds pie was a treat! Also, the reuben on brioche was yummy (a little more sauce next time). The fish and chips was good but had a little bit too much batter for me. Overall, an enjoyable experience! I’ll be back

Went to McGrady’s to celebrate a birthday on their outdoor patio. We arrived prior to 5:30 pm on a weekday and had no issues grabbing a table for two outside without a reservation. As we were leaving, we noticed it filling up mostly around the outdoor bar area – hopefully outdoor overflow goes towards the other side of the pub with the tables/umbrellas.

Wonderful restaurant! Great food and service. Had the fish & chips which were excellent. Don’t normally have dessert but tried the Sticky Toffee Pudding at the recommendation of my server Max. Best dessert ever! Max was so nice and really appreciate her advice. Will definitely be back.

We love the Scottish eggs. Decor was well themed and the seats were incredibly comfortable.

Our first visit, now that they’re open for lunch. Hope they soon open Mondays & Tuesdays. My rating would probably be 4.5/5, if there were such a choice. We arrived a couple of minutes before they opened at 11:00 AM, but were greeted and welcomed outside the front door. Wow! Our friendly and helpful server was Lisa, and she did a fantastic job. I ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich (not spicy!), and my wife had the club sandwich. Both were excellent, as were the “chips” (fries). The beer of the month was very tasty, and they have a nice draft list, including offerings from Swamphead Brewery (Gainesville), Crooked Can (Winter Garden), and Islamorada (in the Keys). The facility and grounds are fabulous. First class. Staff was very outgoing and pleasant. Background music was a tad loud. Prices are not inexpensive, but fair, especially given the portion sizes. The only negative? Iced tea from concentrate, NOT fresh-brewed. I don’t get that. We’ll happily try it, again.

The perfect glass of beer in tap! Had fish (haddock) and chips…. with malt vinegar! Excellent!! On the pricey side, but worth it! This is a Scottish pub and every effort has been put into making the customer ‘feel’ like they’re in Scotland! Bartender’s in kilts, decor to match and hundreds of mugs hanging all over as part of their beer of the month program! Last, but not least… EXCELLENT SERVICE! Thank you Julia! (I have trouble walking, and even the hostess walked slow to the table for me!)

Our waitress Angela was very friendly and attentive. The rest of the staff was friendly. I went with my parents and we enjoyed our meals and the decor of the restaurant . My dad had the salmon cakes with broccoli I, I had the Cajun chicken sandwich ( without the spice so it was made to order) and my mom had the Caesar salad with grilled chicken
