First visit, came in on a Thursday evening for a quiet dinner and we were very pleased. The menu has a nice variety of starters, salads, pasta, chicken, and chops on top of the fantastic steaks. Service was outstanding, had great insights and advice about every dish start to finish. It was friendly fine dining service from start to finish. The steak flight was cooked beautifully, very flavorful and tender. The meatball appetizers were a fun and delicious showcase bite, just the perfect hint of crisp to them. Also ordered the brown butter wild mushroom ravioli with grilled chicken added on. This is an absolutely masterful dish that I eyed as soon as I opened the menu. I was thrilled with it! We finished with some berry cobbler and shortbread cookies and have already picked out what we want to try next time!

South Overland Park is lucky to have McGregor’s Butcher & Bistro, a new restaurant serving the classics. Impeccable service and perfectly prepared, the Grouper special, the filet, and the steakhouse sides, were all outstanding. The French onion soup was textbook, and the roasted beet salad was the perfect first course. This place is perfect for date night or any special occasion. Won’t be long before getting a table will be a tough task. Enjoy dinner here before the secret gets out.

I found this little spot through my babygirl who works there and I’m so glad she took me in for a tour. I’m a fan of butcher shops and this space has a restaurant connected and I’ll be back to try that out for sure.

Popped in for lunch hopiyto find British/Scottish treats in the butcher shop. French dip was delicious! Chips were seasoned well and au jus same. Fettuccine was delicious also added chicken and it was moist and tasty. Scotch eggs were perfect – soft yolk and not too much breading. Crab cakes were also good. Will probably be coming back again!

The service was really good. The owner was really nice. They normally don’t give a military discount but they gave my disabled veteran husband a discount, which I appreciate! The decor is nice and sexy. The service was great! The service was excellent! The drinks were stiff and good. It was definitely worth the price. I loved the sugar cookies. You have to try! We’re going next door to their butcher shop to get something.

Don’t let the location fool you, it is amazing inside! The food and service is fantastic! We had a part of six and we’re able to try the filet, strip steak and the blackened red snapper! The steaks were better than anywhere on the plaza, (including Cap Grill). The blacked red snapper was delicious and the sides and appetizers were equally as good. You have to try it! It will become your go-to spot for date night or any type of celebration!

Fantastic Sunday brunch. Had the best prime rib I’ve had in long, long time (generous cut; unbelievably tender; fantastic crust). Will be going back for dinner to check that out too. Highly recommend. Love to see a gem like this in the burbs – hard to find!
