Decent platter of food, but I wasn’t charged for dinner plate plus my extras instead for each individual item, which lessens the appeal. The salmon was good. Fried shrimp had a special and wasn’t anything spectacular. Could leave everything else but the strawberry and walnut salad, that was delicious!

It is a warm and clean place. There are lots of choice of desserts, appetizers and entrees. I ordered it a chicken leg, which was tender and juice but it was quick to cool down:(. Anyway it is a good place to slow down with family.

Frequent customer for over 30 years, at all locations, so they’re obviously doing something right. Lots of variety, good food, can choose your own items, no table turn pressure, clean restrooms, open on holidays, nice atmosphere (especially Kingsdale). Cons: pricing is getting pretty steep, hot vegetables are too salty and overcooked, and portion sizes for fish and almost anything that involves a line worker cutting or scooping it, are skimpy for what you’re paying a la carte. That’s a management problem, and an ongoing, irritatingly consistent one.

The food was pretty good, but you need to post how to order as you come in the door for those who’ve never been there before. Ended up ordering my lunch a la carte and paid $27 for lunch. The prices are pretty steep.

I LOVE anything restaurant wise that I are at as a kid:)) This place has flavor!! How they get it I probs don’t want to know;) Their food is primarily soft with both of these attributes attributed to the average age of 74 in this and I can only assume all other MCL’s:) This is not a knock at old people, I’m officially old at 51 and strive to make it to the age of everyone in that store lol. Mad respect to anyone out there braving their 80’s or 90’s and owell let’s give a shout out to the septuagenarian’s as well❤️❤️❤️

Enjoyed this place for the First Time! Enjoyed a plentiful serving of Roast Beef with Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans. My wife enjoyed her massive Chef Salad. My Mother-in-law had the Fried Chicken and fixens! Javier was very helpful and prompt with service. Will dine again!

It looked like we came in on a shift change and the nwxt crew didnt know what they were serving. Nor did theye ha e enough ppl on the line to serve or to explain how the system worked if you never been there before. For example you want a small or large portion of roast beef. Well explain to me what the difference may be. The food was very tasty and good. Thank you. I am a chef that was visiting the area from St. Louis Missouri.

Came in for Dinner at 4 p.m. on May 31st 2023 the food looked old that it didn’t look fresh at all, the chicken quarters was so dry that they had put Bar B Q sauce on that even made it look at it worse, 2nd the Fried Fish was cold, carrots was over cooked, don’t mention about the dessert look as though they been left out since Memorial Day worse meal I’ve ever experienced couldn’t eat it, wasted money and very awful food.
