First time trying food here, read the reviews first and they weren’t very good but I decided to give them a chance anyway and I’m glad I did.. I got the short ribs (which we’re huge) Mac and cheese (needed a smidgen more seasoning) greens (great not canned at all) and yams (not a Lot of juice perfectly seasoned ).

First time getting food here, I ordered turkey chops with mac& cheese and dressing . I received burnt mac& cheese dressing was dry even with gravy and the turkey chops were mostly just battered covered bones and the I big chop was over cooked. Along with s 25-30 min wait never again.

Good food, took a long time to get though, probably more than 30 minutes wait, which I guess is standard for chicken breasts. Worth the wait. Couldn’t imagine what the service must be like when it busy, so plan ahead of time for the long wait. (Food was eaten off of before the picture was taken)

Wild experience… did a walk-in for an order of 6pc whole wings, greens and Mac n cheese. Apparently that order takes 45mins… Yea 45 mins for the attached picture of food. Wasn’t updated for the holdup, apologized to, or anything. Ill roll all the way out to Victor’s Soul Food before I ever even recommend this place again.

Greens were the best of the meal. Ordered Catfish Dinner & Short Rib dinner & 2 drinks for $42.00. I’ll go again. I would like to try the Ox Tails ($32). Expensive but at least it was NOT salty like many Soul food places. I’d like to try the fried Chicken too. Friendly staff!

Placed my first order if a catfish sandwich and greens. No bread provided. The fish seemed old. When I broke it in half, the fish completely slid out of the batter. The gems were terrible. The too tasted old. There was one tiny speck of meat that I am not even sure what it was.

As I read the past reviews, I was shocked to see some of them. I ordered today and to be honest, the fried chicken was the BEST I’ve ever had, every bit of it was still juicy without being greasy. Yes the yams were still partially whole but so good and not overly sweet. The Mac and Chz is to die for!!!! My favorite part though was the Collard greens great flavor with a little heat. Most places I have to add hot sauce for some heat and flavor didn’t need to here. I will definitely be back. It is worth the wait TRUST ME!!!!

I would give no stars if I could. I’ve ordered a few times from this company and the food was great but today when I ordered and my food was delivered, I was missing all of my sides. The young woman on the phone hung up on me because they were super busy. I called back to find out if I could get the remainder of my order, the manager in the background said “I don’t want to talk to her! She needs to come up here and get it!” I’m shocked because as a professional establishment and a black owned company, you’d expect better service. I wish the best for this company but they really need to do better with their customer service. 0/10 for service.
